This game takes some many elements from other great games, like Castlevania, Mega Man, Mario, Metroid etc.. I'm surprised more people don't know about this game which really sucks man, great game for sure.

@havik302 Hell yeah, dude. This game is made of win. I think the major reason it's not so well known is just that it came out quite late in the life-cycle of the NES. It's from 1991. By comparison, the first Mega Man is from 1987.

This game kicks ass! I really like the power bar and how it determines how far the boomerang goes, pretty sweet for an old game, haha.

@Frostbitten24 Yeah, dude. The projectile mechanics for your attacks are incredibly complex, especially for a game with only one attack. Mega Man adds complexity with the different weapons from bosses, and Castlevania does so using the pickup weapons, but this game's normal weapon is more in-depth than any of those. Really a great system.

@AcousticKoi I've beaten it a ton of times since I did my "Let's Try" of it so I've gotten quite used to it. There are still some troublesome parts. In stage 4 I have some real problems.
