I was there and it blew me away. This is the definition of a "rock concert". How it used to be. Dark. Loud. Great sound system. The crowd was just as on-fire as the band. It was just an incredible night! There aren't too many "hrad rock" bands left these days, so I can only hope this Van Halen can keep it going...

The "VH Dark Ages" (Sammy era!) was like the movie "Back To The Future Pt 2" When Biff stoled the time machine and altered time!! That's what happened to the mighty VH when Sammy joined!!! You can even hear Sammy's song "Can't Drive 55" in the movie when the Doc and Marty came back to the alter 1985. Spooky!!!

I was at the JLA seventh row next to the ramp and sixth row inner ramp seats at The Palace and I thought both shows were excellent! I agree with David Lee though, The Palace show was the better of the two. If your a fan of Van Halen, don't dare miss this concert in a state/province or city near you!!

Considering that the JLA show as added after the palace show, It makes more sense that it would not be entirely sold out..Especially with the ticket prices. I saw them in Toronto and at the palace last night and they were both awesome shows..(I had no problem paying for great seats at either) I didn't go there to see DLR's haircut..he sounded great..If you go to a Van Halen show to check out the hairstyles or 50+ yr old men, then maybe you should join a "club for men" of your own..homo

I agree neilvai...Saw them in Cleveland and Detroit, (Got tix from my great job, would never pay for this!) Hate to tell the DLR fans but most of the 20 something chicks (age that is) werent payin to much attention. Many empty seats uptop at JLA!! Thought this was THE TOUR EVERONE COUDNT WAIT FOR?
