re Asktunes dylan fan for 30 yrs ? you aint heard nothin if you aint heard this lol look up and find Down in my easy chair.................................look fwd to your reply
Any one know if the chords for this are different than the Blood on the tracks version; seems same progression and rhythm just not same notes? and if they are different, what are they?
Holy crap, I had no idea this existed and I've been scouring places and the internet to find any alternate takes from the Blood on the Tracks sessions that were never officially released. To think the irony that it was on the Jerry Macguire soundtrack. What a gem!
@asktunes Mad trust when I say I thought I had every album made with his name on it which I thought was 52 but come to find out there is 5 more I cant get my hands on and believe me when I say Bob Dylan is a god to me.....
@asktunes Only version I ever heard. May easily be the prettiest song ever. I have always loved every lilt and turn. There are some that just, well, anyway, what a good song, huh?
@asktunes I've followed Bob since "the times they are a changin' .. ( I was about 14 years) and I haven't heard this before today either, asktunes , so I suppose we must realise that Bob is like a swelling mountain stream, prolific in his visions and a virtuosi; a prophet of our time. How fortunate we are to share these changin' times with him! :)
@asktunes It's an awesome version I like it more. I Feel the lyrics sound a bit more folk with the acoustic and enjoy the tempo he sings at on this one!
@asktunes dig up a version he does in fort collins on the 23 may 1976 truley to remember for ever........good luck it keeps getting taken down over here in israel
A new favorite video of mine. Great version of this song and great pictures. Thank you!
