@xXxHolyHellxXx no Once you mine a Vein think of it as your own personal use is done with it , itl remain there but you yourself cant mine it again for some time , and i do believe they despawn and respawn in diferent locations (No runescape type mining)

@xXxHolyHellxXx What he meant is that no matter how many times OTHER players mine an ore it wont disappear to YOU, but when you mine it it will eventually disappear, hope that helps!

@MsDatsaspicymeatball Every weapontype in game has its own unique skills, this is also the case across professions. Meaning that a thief using a bow, will have different skills than a hunter using a bow.

The crafting looks cool, especially the potential random aspects, but I don't like the ability to learn all crafts. I feel this devalues the economic impact of crafting. I felt that this was a failing of Fallen Earth.

@IzNebula March and April they will start what they call, Beta Weekend Events... not Open Beta, they said they will not be doing OB at all and replaced it with Beta Weekend Events...

We only get access for the weekend, Friday through Sunday. More details of this will come at the end of February for sure, as well as sign up and registration process.

That's so fucking clunky. You have go to some dude every time you wanna change crafting abilities. You forgot another way to gather, through an auction house, that is if GW 2 has an auction House. People are gonna abuse the fuck out no despawning gathering points. Yeah discovering recipes through mixing & matching is pointless dud, the internet kills this type of system.

@EdwardElric555 Abuse the no de-spawning? I'd of thought you'd get a cool-down on that specific node so it wasn't worth standing there and spam gathering. I don't think the discovery thing is bad at all, whoever spends more time on it trying to make the more complicated crafts will reap the rewards. If someone is happy to do that rather than tons of exploration then fair enough. I'm guessing they will use an auction house, I hope so.

@Cheesymunky If there is a cooldown then it can't be too long unless they want the player base to be annoyed when farming, so 2 things could happen, players will just wait and keep spamming or get parties and farm together. You wanna see the bad effects then look at Runescape. Discovery is a good idea but like I said the internet kills it because the good players will look online for recipes that are hard to preform so they can level faster. Also the crafting system is literally Guess Who?

@EdwardElric555 Guess it's down to them to find a middle ground for spawn times. If your lucky enough to get mates co-farm then I wouldn't complain On crafting I like the idea as I've been used to WoW on and off for last 6 years and it's something new. On WoW all you had to do is farm hard for the first few hours, buy the patterns and make all the early profit, at least on GW2 it should be slower build up and most advanced patterns hopefully won't be commonly known early and be varied

@Cheesymunky Actually my argument was that it could potential be a lot faster, because the materials don't disappear. But it's all comes down to output and the winning recipes if they are balanced correctly then people can't power level through the crafting skills. But I still think the need to go a dude to change crafting skills, is just gonna be a pain in the ass and not fun at all. They should really work on that.

@zafiris125 It means that other people are able to use the same node after you use it. Example - you cut down a tree. You cant cut that tree for whatever the recharge length is, but other people can still go to the tree and cut it down.

If the Closed beta lasts around the same time as Alpha we are looking at around the end of January or middle of Feb till Open Beta is out and we start getting to have some fun.
