i think toshiro loses to halibel, and that barragan dies by soifon's bankai but takes soifon with him, i also think kyouraku and ukitake will lose from stark, so the vizards may pop up when all those captains are beaten

I wouldn't start planning Halibel's funeral just yet, you have to remember that characters have survived far worse injuries than merely being frozen. Personally I think one of two things will happen; either Halibel will break out in time to avoid dying, or Hitsugaya will let her out at the last second because I doubt he has it in him to kill a woman...either way I 'think' she'll live at least a little while longer.

I think you guys are totally wrong. I think toshiro could beat harribel. You must remember that toshiro said adjuchas aren't neccesarily at captains level. They are like at a vice captain level. The captain soul reapers even trained to fight them so quit complaining. Now if they fight vasto lordes that would be different.

Vasto lordes are the only hollows who successfully broke the limit between hollow and soul reapers. Which means they have no animal or beast characteristics. They are just soul reapers with masks. Just like ichigo true vizard form is full hollow with his shimigami abilities,.

Hitsugaya said they were humanoid and the used the orb to gain shimigami powers.

1-4 are forbidden because they are powerful but they are not vastos. Adjustas are not weak so being one is no big deal.

@jace: that is incorrect. Vasto Lordes have no shinigami powers. If a VL was made an arrancar then it would, but being an arrancar is what gives a hollow shinigami characteristics, not being a VL. VL is the highest level of a hollow's evolution. Any hollow can gain shinigami powers by removing its mask. If a hollow does not remove its mask and continues to increase in power and evolve then VL would be the summit of their evolution.

Even if the information what Toshiro said was true, then how do you explain the fact that an adjuchas such as Ulquiorra fight Ichigo who is at captain level, be a at a vice-captain's level? Ichigo beat 2 captains, 4 vice-captains and a third seat officer.

@ everyone that replied to the initial post that these all branched from: there has been no confirmation on what level any of the espada were previous to becoming arrancars except aaroneiro, who stated he was a gillian. No one knows anything past that. So please refrain from stating that Ulquiorra is an adjuchas or that the top 4 are VLs or anything else of that nature because there is no proof whatsoever.

Well, they made it pretty clear that grimmjow was an adjuchas before he was an arrancar.

So he's pretty much the control for judging the other espada IMO

So yeah, I think 1-4 are/were VL but I could be wrong.

Well in all fairness he tied with Kenpachi and he would have lost against Byakuya if his inner hollow hadn't intervened and brought him down to size so the term 'win' is a matter of perspective. Another thing you have to remember is that when ANY hollow becomes an Arrancar they gain a substancial amount of power. And to be honest we dont know what the Espada were before they were transformed. And lastly I doubt being a VL would guarante you victory against any of the captains.

Like others have said its still early to say Harribel is definitely out. Wait and see what happens next week for a confirmation. So far entrapment has never worked: not with Byakuya's cherry blossoms, not with Charlotte's rose bush, not with Ichinose's light, not with Mayuri's poison. etc. It was also stated by Hitsugaya himself that Harribel was waiting for the atmosphere to change and be filled with more condensation... If she gets out then he just have her a damn snowstorm to work with!

I don't think Halibel is done yet, She is trap in the ice the Manga didn't show her die yet. Beside she is the third espada she really haven't really put up a fight against Toshiro it's like she wasn't trying. I wouldn't under estimate Azien group just yet.

originally it was implied that his basic trait was his wits and tactical capabilities rather than his combat skills. Kinda like unohana's main skill being healing (although for all I know she might turn out being a beast in combat healing is way more important in any situation).

I kinda liked that about him, he had a "brain of a prodigy trapped in somehow inferior brown " situation to struggle with and that's what made him interesting. Now that handicap is off Toshiro feels kinda... generic.

no there is no difference. Soifon shikai is a 2 part instant kill attack.

Instant kill, but whats here to argue about? The one is a 1hit and the other a 2 in one hit, nothing more. But my point is that instankills (and i mean 1hitkills wich involves a sort of entrapment and disolves away after it connect) Are destined to break free from. Besides it would be much better if Harribel would be fighting Yamamoto( to avenge her Fraccion) It would be Fire vs water. So fighting yamamoto to avenge her fraccion, only to be killed greatly afterwards. Sacrifice....Ring a bell? ;)

Just a guess but barragan's death powers may be microbe/virus based similar to decomposers catalyzing the breaking down of corpses. Soi fon might still have a chance to win with her bankai since her zanpakutou is toxin based, which could kill things like microbes.

Its clearly obvieus that Harribel ( Halibel?) will survive. Sinds when did a trick like entrapment succeeded on anybody in bleach??? Remember Kenpachi vs ichinose (bount arc) or byakuya vs zommari or even histugaya himself against Luppi ( ice prison thingy). That frozen obelisk is destined to break free from. I personnaly think that Harribel will break free, defeat hitsugaya, only to be defeated afterwards by yamamoto.

its not entrapment. Its a instant kill just like soifon shikai. When the snow melts she dies.

Just like with kenpachi and ichinose??? when the light began to schrink, he was also supposed to die, but we all know what happened then don't we? My point of those exemples is that an instant kill move( wich involves entrapment) doesn't work very well in bleach. It is just to soon to say that harribel is dead, when there is no proof of it , just like it was with hitsugaya when he was (supposedly) sliced in half. Besides Tite kubo strategy= Who ever does his final attack first, dies first
