if you want the lifetime warranty by it straight from wright and mcgill, you only get a 2 year from bassprp i found that out the hard way

Wright & McGill guarantees the original owner with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. In order for this warranty to apply, the rod must be registered, within 10 days of purchase, using their online warranty registration.

Regardless of where the rod is purchased, if it has been registered within the 10 days, Wright & McGill will warranty the rod for defect in material or workmanship.
