sooooo you paid $300 for these latches and still use your stock latch....why? the purpose would be to do away with your stock latch system (or if the hood didnt have one)
As long as the hood release cable is periodically inspected, the stock latch assembly is hood kept lubricated, there should be no worries about this happening. I've had these pins for 7 months on my Prelude with no issues.
If you are referring to the fact that there are no locks on these push-button hood pins, you may notice on this video that I did not remove the stock latch. The hood can only be opened if the stock latch is disengaged from inside the vehicle, and the 2 buttons on the hood pins are depressed.
Hello Ivan. No, wind will not loosen the hood from these latches at highway speeds. The hood has remained stable the entire time I have used these pins.
For $300, I better get a blowjob with these.

I wonder if they have carbon fiber ones
louie000007 1 year ago
no. dont buy these!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why?
because, if your hood release wire is somehow done.
they will have to drill a effing hole from the 2 sides to open ur hood.
get the top screwed type ones.
