Scientology has been around for 40 years. They won a 30 year battle with the IRS which resulted in being recognized as a church. I do not know of any organization who has not experienced a member who was mentally unstable and despite all efforts death occurred. Youtube posts all these negative things about Scientology despite they do have a membership of over 15,000,000. If you investigate a little further you will find many honest and decent people who happily live there life as Scientologist.

Did you read my comment at all or just glance at it. I said taking psych. drugs isn't a guaranteed fix. Obviously people taking them are already sick and the drugs didn't help, so their condition deteriorated even further. With that being said, you have a point, people do usually get worse off the drugs, but it's mostly a factor of abuse. Too much of anything is bad for you. People usually have to choose between going insane, or taking a chance with those drugs, the latter usually being chosen.

Did you read my comment at all or just glance at it. I said taking psych. drugs isn't a guaranteed fix. Obviously people taking them are already sick and the drugs didn't help, so their condition deteriorated even further. With that being said, you have a point, people do usually get worse off the drugs, but it's mostly a factor of abuse. Too much of anything is bad for you. People usually have to choose between going insane, or taking a chance with those drugs, the latter usually being chosen.
