  • Super Mario 64 Lava Land.

  • great... keep it up.!

  • stop at 2:56

  • Awesome!

  • Very beautiful. In the long term I would suggest that the play could benefit from work on making the technique more consistent. Great Masters such as Vilayat Khan and his brother Imrat stressed the importance of traditional technique. It is obvious that many performers have modified this however it remains a good benchmark.

  • Is this the same style as Ustad Vilayat Khan ?

  • @FrustratedBaboon

    Hi!

Yes It's the same , but with his own ideas.

There are only some difference in fingers which Ustadji didnt used,

  • fine

  • LOVE how this sounds.

    Sounds amazing full of life.

  • These two guys need to be more high profile than they are right now.. Especially Sabri

    keep it up!

    Jai Shri Krishna

  • wow very nice, clear and very enjoyable, buetiful...

  • Utterly fantastic!

  • !!!! :-D

  • Very nice but I'm not sure about that lazy third finger usage. He sounds Etawah Gharana but a pure player of this school would NEVER use the third ring finger.

  • Hi Nick,

I just asked him about your doubt...

He said this is not necessarily so to use third finger if you feel comfortable with 2.

Nevertheless u can see in fast speed he using third too...

  • Thanks for the personal reply but as I said, a PURE Etawah gharana player would never use the third finger. He doesn't need to use his third finger so it looks like laziness, not wanting to stretch his second finger.

No offence is intended to a very good artist otherwise.

    Nick

  • Also I feel ONLY using the 2 main fingers strengthens them both & doesn't spread the workload. I feel more in control when I use only 2 fingers.

    Nick
