Dean was trying to funny. According to MANY people that have met Dean, hes not an idiot. You Obviously don't understand what his show was all about. I don't see him as being an idiot nor did he disrespect the TJ Brass. Lighten up a little you old grouch.

I seem to have offended the Dean Martin crowd. Well, sorry folks, but I never liked him or the rest of the Rat Pack. That stupid pseudo-Spanish stuff he yells at the end of the clip is retarded (and yes I know the drunk act was a shtick). And the way he treated the Rolling Stones on Hollywood Palace was pretty ignorant. This is a Herb Alpert clip and I'm an Alpert fan, so I like watching and hearing Herb and the Brass do their thing. I'm not interested in the host of the show.

Classic tunes and great band! I always have fun noting the musical instruments we hear but are not with the band in such a number: marimba, piano, where are they? And note the guitar & bass with no cords or amps... ? Viva TJB!

Great clip. They're obviously faking to pre-recorded tracks, but those tracks are definitely different from the official recorded versions of the songs (Bittersweet Samba and Winds Of Barcelona AKA El Presidente). Good to see Nick flying all over the drums (he's drumming for real, even if he's not heard by anyone other than the other Brass members). Too bad Dean Martin was such an idiot!

Anyone know who the 2nd trumpeter is? It isn't Tonni Kalash. This must be a real early clip ('65) by the looks of drummer Nick Ceroli - he just started growing the mustache here. Check him out in the Ray Anthony videos with Vikki Carr singing 'That Old Black Magic' - he doesn't have the mustache in that video, but looks about the same age as in this video.

It is Art Mooshagian and he is alive and well at the young age of 82 living in Fresno California.
