I remember when this video first came out. It was right around my 10th birthday (Feb. 21,`67) and they had a much tauted showing of it on American Bandstand. It was one of THE FIRST "surreal type" (a.k.a. "psychodelic") music videos ever made, and it had a pronouned impact on me. I soon went out and had my Mom buy the 45 RPM single for me as a present (which I have to this day). All the mellotron flutes and backwards tape effects were REALLY TRIPPY for that era.
its been written on the rock in roll that 'i buried paul is the book of john declareing the apostle pauls words are dead to jesus. paul is the worm to the apple.when brian was murderd so was john an an attempted murder on george confirms this helter skelter.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me I didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life.
I remember when the Beatles started to right real metaphorically deep songs like this instead of the same tired love songs. Those days were really scary, Vietnam, The Russians, Murdered Presidents right here in America, a racial civil war. And these dudes did this
