Ordinarily, i would side with you, citing things like the cops are doing their job, and such things.

This is the TRUTH of the matter though:

1. Reasonable right of force

2. Intent

In both cases Victoria Police conceded to not having reasonable right of force to push around people who were just standing there

and they also conceded their intent was, at the request of the Jewish lobby, was to demoralise people from protesting.
