I adore Tegan/ sara to death their love for music and unique talented vocals are one of the many inspiring aspects of the the duo as well as their openeness to their sexual minority fan base such as myself despite the lack what is suppose to be a diverse society the girls strive!! You're right, fictional TV series like The Office or Trailer Park Boys use a documentary style of shooting in hopes of conveying a more authentic experience. Even a feature film like Transformers uses this style (and of course District 9).

Hi, it's me, the camera man. I was trying to grab close-ups "on the fly" during the interview to use later for editing. In retrospect I wish I had just held the shot. Oh well. Lesson learned. Also, I was trying to get a close-up of her hand, not her boob. Guess I got both.
