we basically have the same rig except i have an 8600gt, but i just ordered the bfg 9600gt oc last night. looks like its doin good. and plus im stoked because on the BFG website it says that the 9600GT OC is up to 90% better than the 9600GTS, and the GTS is better than my GT. haha so wow this should be fun ;)

im not saying its a bad game, just the combat is a little on the easy side, ... the quests are great the grafx are very good and you have almost more freedom in the game world than you can use.

isnt the 9600gt dreamy? lol I just got oblivion...been in the game for 25 days on full difficulty and havent gotten past the first oblivion gate...still doing my mage recommendations im a lvl 10 woodelf witchhunter under the serpent sign...got stuck in dreamworld at the 2 big bulls...other tasks were easy...neone having similar experience, dont know anything about this game except 10 lvls worth lol.

I was able to run a 320mb 8800gts KO card with oblivion on AAx8,but I notice that if I want to do ultra high quality it wont take either settings,but either path I choose,the card can handle oblivion with ease.

of course when i overclock my assu Ne8800gt to engine:700Mhz,Memory:2003Mhz,i have a descent fps around lower:20fps and higher47 fps outside and in some town,i never have fps problem even with my 7800gtx inside doungeon and caves,of course i say it again i play oblivion with evrything at max resolution 1440*900(wildscreen)HDR,etc.

thanks for answering my quest about if you use qarl texture pack3,well i just buy i new video card for 250$ assu NE8800GT 512MB,and i play oblivion at max resolution with evrything max i have about 47 fps outside but sometime its go down 3fps(for shot time,3sec)my ancient video card was a 7800GTX,with evrything max i got like 27 fps and i lag a lots,but i still lagging with the assu Ne 8800gt,while playing oblivion,i have qarltexture pack and lots of other mods.
