  • you are just learning??? i want to do this so bad

  • How long have you been dancing? I'm still searching for a *good* tribal fusion instructor in Hamburg, Germany. Over here it's tribal Fusion desert......:(

  • @JoiceJoker

Hallo, es gibt eine gute Lehrerin in Hamburg Rahlstedt. Schau mal bei Google unter Dance-Space.

    Die Tribal-Fusion Kurse sind Freitags.

  • Great dancing, love the abs, STAY AWAY FROM THE JUNK FOOD!

  • i think you're doing great! some advice, is don't try to focus on exactly how you're moving. belly dancing is supposed to be the physical interpretation of music-so let it flow through you-feel the beat, don't stress about every move. when you relax more, it'll come easier, and be a bit more fluid. your face did show stress, it was very serious- i was told once by a dancer, that you're supposed to make love to whoever you lock eyes with-so don't concentrate so much, get lost in the music.

  • here's 1 good tip.. while ur dancing, SMILE. Trust me u'll be less stiff.. when ur not smiling your concentration is too much on how ur moving your body, u have to go with the feeling of the dance overrall versus the technique.

  • well 1 thing is, u have the stomach flexibility or fluidity i should say, pretty much in perfection.. just work on movin ur body more fluid especially your shoulders n arms ..make it seem like water, very soft and easy. Im no expert but i can tell u more than show u. hehe. Good job girlfriend.

  • Please work on your snake arms. Try breaking with your isolations then segue waying. Like top isolation moving to hips. Try not to constantly move, feel the music.

Practice with a book on your head for the isolations. Smile or look serene.

  • Remember to smile! Without a smile it looks like you aren't enjoying yourself. Keep up the good work!

  • its really good

  • Well done you great job you have great movement

  • Hi!

I am a beginner too! Just want to say you are doing really good....I love the tribal fusion style too.....I'm new to it as i have been practicing only classic belly dance...Only thing i'd say to work on is bringing the sexuality in play don't forget to seduce us..Alot of that comes from facial expression other then that.....i really enjoyed it keep it up!

  • You are awsome!

  • I not a bellydancing expert, but I enjoy watching your performance.

  • Your belly rolls aren't bad but it just seems like you are everywhere. Take your time and use your lower body more. Right now it's like your too focused on your upper body

  • Good job on being brave enough to post a video. Here's my feedback...

    1. You don't have to smile.

    2. Yes, relax your shoulders. There are times when they are too engaged and take away from the other movements in the middle and lower body.

    3. Less is more. You're trying to do too much at once.

Hopefully that doesn't come off as harsh. You are SO on the right track. Just gotta tone it down a little and improve on isolations. Your belly rolls are 5x better than most newbs.

  • just... smile !

  • love the way you move the navel.

  • lovely navel

  • woooohooo u go girl might be a newbie, but very good,u definatly got sunthing there..... im soooo jealous lol :)

  • Try to relax your face when you dance.

  • A newbie, but a goodie! You have a wonderful face for tribal fusion.

  • wow, your belly rolls are miles better than mine lol

  • Comment removed

  • u did well!

  • I agree, very good for a "newbie".

  • Relax your shoulders, and be more aware of your arms, don't let them cover your face when you raise them in a sunrise position, or your body when you bring them in front of you. Let them frame your movements. You're already off to a great start! =D Keep up the good work!!

  • I know its hard to get your hip arms ab mucles to coperate all at once. Just relax. Arms should be fluid. but very good

  • Love the shoulder moves,

    Love the back bends, and

Love the Costume! Nice touch with the cowry shells and the turkoman silver details!

Your face is a bit stiff.. But I think it makes you mysterious! As it doesn't give away any sort of emotions, instead you let your body do the talking.

Nice work, keep it up girl! :)

  • Wow! you're a great belly dancer! im trying to learn too but im only 14 and my parents are way to busy to help...so im just going to watch videos and copy what i see...i going to prac what you're doing in this video because i think you're a great dancer...i already learned 1 min's of it :)

  • practicing to youtube videos is great its a basic tutorial so keep doing it, i still do! u can also join a bellydance class. there are so many begginers classes and theyre such a blast! keep it up girl and good luck!

    -nicole

  • Very fluid. You look beautiful!

  • You look great keep on doing what your doing, you inspire all new beginners.

    Namaste

  • Dat was really good.

  • Not bad! But relax! You are trying way to hard, you just need to breathe and have fun with it!!!

  • great job just relax hun act like ur just made of water

  • uhm humans are made of water.

  • woo this an amazing comparison for the belly dance, made of water, now it´´ clearer to me

  • Cool! I'm just starting out too. You're not half bad! Thanks for sharing with us! You did look a bit nervous, but that's understandable.

  • I think you are quite good if you are new at this! I too started belly dancing not to long ago. For help with your arms i would suggest trying to keep your arms as still as possible while practicing other movements and learn the arms seperately, mix them together later. also i find yoga helps as a warm up to get a smoother rhythm. Good job tho keep up the work!

  • Very good, if I may suggest, you're arms were abit stiff other than that honestly. very good and fluid

  • You are the most talented dancer I've seen.

  • you dont look so new at this to me

  • very poetic :)

  • Really Great. I want to learn it. :-)

  • what happened to her face? it seems like she is scared to breath

  • Very fluid but hands and arms are a little bit stiff

  • I think you're awesome. Very fluid.

  • The arms aren't very goood

  • Very good... SMILE !!!!

  • I understand you want her to smile during a performance. But Tribal bellydance is a more serious form of bellydance. Whereas Bollywood and Cabaret are more joyful with smiling. In Tribal bellydance usually most do not smile So she was right in not smiling. Though her arms are stiff and she needs to stop bring her elbows behind her back. other than that, she is doin great for a beginner.

  • your good

  • Wow! Great stomach!

You should also make, for fun, a stomach punching video to proudly show how flexible, hard, and strong your abdominal muscles are getting!

You're a beautiful, strong healthy woman!

  • Why are some of you videos very pixilated and this one is so sharp? Are you using different cameras? I noticed this one has a higher rating that the other ones and there was alot of light in the room.

  • wow I can't believe you are just starting!

    You are really great!!:)

  • i want the name of this song...please

  • Fantastic potential. Keep up the good work. But I agree with the person making the comment on your hands. Watch your middle fingers, that they don't dip too low.

    But you're doing well otherwise...

  • Hey you are doing good! I was just wondering where you learned that dance?

  • Hey that's really good for a beginner. Just be mindful of your hands and arms. Make them a little softer, don't clench your fingers or put your hands o your hips. Keep it up

  • just learning!!! you look professional!!! =)

  • mazec

  • Hypnotizing!

  • you are a amazing dancer

  • you're really good! :-)

  • Tha ta the best dancing I have ever seen. Of course it helps when you are very beautiful !

  • Hrmmm, well it was wonderful! My only suggestions are to soften your arms in the snake arms a little and smile! Even you gothy tribal dancers can have a little fun, infact their shows are where I see the most humor used. :P Have fun with it, you're doing great!

  • sino exageraras taanto estria mejor...

  • sino exageraras taanto estria mejor...

  • Miss you girl your looking great!!

  • niice jobb...

    nice stomach too =)

  • I love the choice of music. The attire looks tribal - so here are some tribal tips. Use some of the drum beats for chest undulations and hip movement. Add some pops and locks and some hip and shoulder shimmy. Relax and have fun. But remember, dancing isn't all about the belly roll, look forward to seeing more.

  • so beautyful i want a GF like this!

  • the way you come out of your back bend is really nice. Try to remember to relax your expression. Outstanding.

  • Impressive..The eye contact is outstanding. You have a 'natural' talent for belly dance which can't be expressed through instruction. By all means, continue to develop your craft..

  • AND POST MORE VIDEOS!!

    :-)

  • that's not what I call a newbie! xD ur movements are great. U can even do the bellyroll and ur backbend isn't bad either

  • Also if you're just learning you already make very sensual movements and some technical. After a tensing beginning, you relax yourself while dancing and your belly movements become more sinuous. It's also evident that your body is athletic and I like its muscular structure

  • GAT DAMIT! I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY ENJOYED THAT!!! Belly dancing slow is the best!! ANd you rock it!!!!

  • Very good, keep it up, you're doing great!!!! Like the outfit!

  • You're doing great! But there are a few things you can improve on - first of all, your shoulders, arms, and neck are very stiff. Try relaxing the shoulders and neck while giving your arms a bit of flow. Your hip work is nice but it looks like you're almost trying too hard - make them smaller, crisper, and sharper. And finally, try to isolate more by keeping the rest of your body still when you're moving something. :) Keep it up and continue to take classes!

  • Thanks for the advice! I am really trying to work on my shoulders; they've been the hardest thing for me to relax when I'm concentrating on doing the moves. More practice for me!

  • @TechHouseChica

Aww I noticed that I gave you the same advice >.< Hope it's not to irritating. =\

I had the same problem with the "relaxing" thing. I got around it by pushing my shoulders sown, and making my neck as long as possible. It's easier to use strong shoulders rather than just relaxing them.

  • @marsbarmaria That's good advice, I think I need to take a piece of that. I need to remember I have arms when I'm dancing lol, I have to remember snake-like...or fluid arms while I'm dancing and it should make it much smoother, I hope. I'm pretty good with isolation, I could use some work on my hip shimmies though.

@TechHouseChica: Your abdominal work is already amazing! Already better than mine and I've been Belly Dancing on and off for about 4 years. :) Keep it up! You'll be AMAZING!

  • Oh and Tribal Fusion/ATS/Fire Dance are by FAR my favorite styles of belly dance. :) So graceful, sensual and empowering. It really makes you feel good about yourself when you're done and it's a great work out! Man those back bends are difficult, good job! Makes me want to go practice! :) I think I will soon.

  • your new to this?!?!?! damn

5 stars all the way. amazing

  • great abs and toned arms, great dancer too, u sure you're new to this?

  • Go easy on you? You are incredible. *5*

I cannot wait until you go professional. You are gorgeous and perfect for Tribal Fusion. Keep up the work, and post often so that we can witness ALL of your progress.

  • nice! good muscle control

  • Not bad for being new to this style....good performance
