It's a shame they pretty much squished everything (voices included) into small episodes. It still turned out great, but it's sort of weird hearing everyone talk at a fast pace.

I think the frenetic pace kinda adds to the comedy factor. And mostly I think it's Negishi who talks/voiceovers fast, usually when he's panicking (which is pretty much always).
