I don't think she's secretive. I think she just doesn't want the paparazzi on her doorstep every second of the day and with her level of fame the only way she could achieve that was to keep a low profile.

i just learned that she started making her music to get over her feelings of sorrow and selfreproach after her friend committed suicide.

now i totally understand her music is a reflection of her own traumatic experience, which makes it sad but beautiful.

i agree totally. i understand practically nothing but i enjoy hearing her speak... she really is beautiful, and the longer you watch the more you realize it. she has this... sort of passionate, slightly tragic-and-silently-suffering look, blended with eleagance and pride... and a hint of "wisdom" ^^. and the more of her music i hear, the more i like it :)
