I love the TRX, it's the best fitness invention ever. I am stronger now than ever since I started using it. You develop all of the connective muscles. None of the big guys, or any guy for that matter, ever uses it at the gym. I think it scares them 'cause it'll blow their facade! Keep up the good work.

@TyeDyeGuyRy Strong comparison. Someone who does a lot of calisthenics will be a lot more efficient at body weight exercises then a bodybuilder who for the majority of the time trains with resistance from weights. So its not surprise you can do more pull ups and dips...

I am seeing some hate on this man's training style. Calisthenics is how ALL OF US started in gym class. You can and will get in good heatlhy, strong shape simply with a strong calisthenics program. period. Myself, I lifted heavy for several years and got to my ideal size (I went from 150 to 200 in about 6 years just with exercise and diet). And then I plateaued and took someone's advice--100 pushups a day. Pull ups. Dips. Cardio. That's it and I am pretty yoked. Mr. Cal...keep it up!!!
I noticed over the years that results will always very for different individuals. I have met guys who do body wieght excercise, and they look like they lift wieghts, and other guys who do the same, and just get ripped, It depends, on genetics, how you eat, and training, as well as rest.
it depends on what your goals are. Most people will achieve size and power from heavy lifting. For me bodywieght excercises keep me tone, and still I can maintain power. It depends on your body type. I mean at my lightest I am 200lbs, and currently I am 250lbs, so when I am this heavy I stick to bodywieght excercices.
Yea but when you are that skinny its not hard to lift your self. i do smiler workouts when im not in the gym just to keep my bodystrength/ weight equal. if this is all you do you cant expect to get buff just riped. It is important though. Also on another note check out isometrics.

I weigh 140 lbs and I can do more pull ups and dips than most bodybuilders I met in the gym.
For the record a 200 lb guy said I could only do pullups because I only weigh 140, so I put on 60 lbs and did more pull ups than him.
Calisthenics = power.
