Aside from expressing her own emotions about Etta James through music (which, I repeat, is a really common outlet at funerals, though a lot of people sing religious songs), she is honoring Etta James with her own artwork. I fail to see any need for shame here (though I do disagree with her choice of clothes a little, but that's my opinion)

Christina just manages to fuck everything up! She fucked up the national anthem and she sings at the legendary Etta James's funeral and total murdered it! Murder as in they shuda got someone else to sing it! The way she sang it was just horrible! She was hittin notes that didn't even flow together.. etta james deserved someone other then a pop singer! Might as well have let miley cyrus sing it if it was like that! Ugh I'm so upset with the way the performance went.
