You just proved you are ignorant. You are a true Product of Roman Catholic Catholicism. When Constantine mixed Christianity with paganism. You believe in the rapture, the Trinity etc. Probably think Christ died on a Friday and Rose on Sunday. Poor Guy. You are more separated from the Most High than you think. Ill pray for you to
I think that the end of Matthew 23 is more about 70 A.D. than Matthew 24. In Matthew 23:38, he said that their house will be desolate, which happened in 70 A.D and then in 135 A.D, when Caesar Hadrian permanently kicked the Jews out (Some made a comeback after 70 A.D. Preterists don't mention this).
When I read Matthew 24, though, a lot of that is future. People will see the Son of Man visually coming. It says that in the beginning of Acts.
"some nutcase on the internet"....I almost choked on my chips laughing...and thought as I gave this a serious listen that I was listening to this on the internet! Can we dispense with the ad hominem? Stick to the point and scripture please? For the most part this appears an honest attempt at "a refutation of the full preterist view" but it falls far short in fact. I would very much appreciate information on the "debate with Don Preston"? Thanks! Let's follow 1Thess.5:21 "test all things"........
I can simplify "where" you err in your thinking. In such things as "the blessed hope" you must realize Jesus' promises were literal, and were personally spoken to those within his hearing! So logically, "The Blessed Hope" was for those first century Christians he made the promise to! Not future folks like you and me some 2,000 years after the fact. To understand the new testament truths you and need a new paradigm. He said things like; "YOU SHALL SEE" The question is "who" is the "you" here?
Check out my uploads for info on Full Preterism. If heaven and earth have not passed away, you are still under the Law (Matt 5:18). Be careful not to be quick to toss around slander such as "heresy" when Jesus himself was accused of such. I'll leave history to repeat itself because if man weren't utterly predictable then we'd never have any problems now would we? And faith must be tested. :)
What is so challenging about these verses to the futurist view? Please ask yourself the following question: If the day of the Lord is, as you and I have always been traditionally taught, a time ending, universe destroying event, with people literally coming out of their graves how in the world could the Thessalonians ever have been convinced, as they obviously were, that the day of the Lord had already come?
Lou, Is there any way you can contact Don Preston and debate him on full preterism again? The forum could be preterist radio. Michael Loomis would be more than willing to air it on AD70.net. I download podcasts from him regularly and listen to Don's show on his station. I look forward to hearing your opinions defended again against one who teaches exactly as I believe! Since Don clearly won the previous debate I would be surprised if you accept.
I find it odd that Lou brags about debating anyone, yet he backed out of a debate with me. Why? Because I've embarrassed Lou too many times on paltalk in front of his friends. Why would you back out of a debate with someone that's too easy to refute? Matthew 21:23 to Matthew 24:34 or Matthew 24:1-34 Let's see who alters, changes or redefines more words, phrases, audience relevance, time statements and/or nature of fulfillment. I'll debate any futurist Christian and prove they MUST every time!
@imsuckingwind Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Then there's 2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Preterists have a lot of work to do. LOL. See? You did all that work for nothing :)
1 Cor 7:29-31 "Brethren, the appointed time has grown very short; from now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none, and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy as though they had no goods, and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. It's easy to mock challenges & the person offering them when you won't confront the challenges being offered. All futurists can to do is mock me. They pigeon hole me into what other (self professed) Full Preterists believe, rather than confronting me on my own beliefs. There's only one reason why no futurist has accepted ANY of these 3 challenges, they can't! Attack the messenger when you can't refute the message. Wait till my Video Challenge comes out, you'll really see their fruit then! HASTA!
Lou Rugg: I developed this Challenge with you in mind:
The A.R.T.S. of Eschatology Challenge C: Using Matthew 24:1-34 which view alters or changes meaning of words & phrases, audience relevance, timing & nature of fulfillment more? Futurist Eschatology or Fulfilled Eschatology? C’mon Lou?
I'll even give you a handicap Lou. I'll debate you on this challenge, and I won't alter, change, or redefine 1 word.
Let's prove to the world who has to change more scripture to support their view!
@Eschatology101 Jerry, I'm busy doing videos. Full Preterism is insignificant. As I mentioned in my first youtube exposing that joke of a doctrine, I don't even know why I lowered myself to waste my time on that junk. But it's out there...so I felt kind of obligated. If you want, contact Don Preston. If he wants to debate me about the legitimacy of Full Preterism using the entire Bible, I'll be happy to oblige.
@LOUISRUGG The term Full Preterist (ism) allows you to keep me in the box you need me in. Lou, read this carefully: I believe in Fulfilled Eschatology & Accomplished Salvation. Something NO Futurist can refute, but every one should believe! I can show my view with scripture, only scripture, 100% scripture; and I don't NEED to change one word Lou. Continued Christian Futurist Eschatology is on its deathbed Lou. You need to complete your transition to Judaism!
@Eschatology101 Jerry, one other thing...Just tell Don that he'll need to provide a number of explanations as to how a number of passages in Scripture were fulfilled. Personally, I don't thing he can without sounding foolish. But I won't debate you Jerry. You're way too easy. I need a challenge. :)
@LOUISRUGG As always, Lou takes the low road and has to resort to ad-hom and/or strawman statements. Lou win't debate me because I've embarrassed him too many times in paltalk. He backed out of our debate for that very reason. You need a challenge? What a joke, I offered you 3. The Futurist constant refusal to address my 3 challenges exposes the truth that it is the Futurist who MUST alter & change meaning of words & phrases, audience relevance, timing & nature of fulfillment more. Irrefutable!
@Eschatology101 I said I'm not going to debate you. That wasn't meant to be an ad-hom. Sorry you took it that way. I said that you were easy. That wasn't meant to be an ad-hom either. What I meant was refuting Full Preterism is so easy a child can do it. Go find Don Preston. If he agrees to debate me on the legitimacy of Full Preterism using the entire Bible, I'll happily debate him again. He has my number.
@LOUISRUGG I'm easy? Well then pick one of the 3 challenges and prove how easy it is.. Like I said Lou. Over 2 years and not ONE Futurist has ever attampted to disprove any one of the 3. That speaks for itself.
@Eschatology101 My debates with Don Preston have been recorded and placed on my web site. I have nothing to be embarassed about. If you think he won any of those debates, you are either delusional, or in denial. My opinion is that you're both.
2 Timothy 2:16-18 He already told you Hymenaeus and Philetus said the resurrection is past already, IN HIS TIME, before it was ad70 they said this! Are these 2 men alive today, nope, so nice try.
Preterist don't say where is the promise of the coming, they said he did AD70
Transfiguration was a vision of His Coming, and Moses and Elias was removed, removing moses, the law, and prophets, now how do you remove that, BY DESTROYING THE 2ND TEMPLE, so you admit his coming was in AD70!
@Supratube1 Don't concern yourself with Lou, Supra. Lou is cluless; who rather than paying attention to what I say I believe, he lumps me into his false categories. I've told Lou numerous times that I'm no 70 AD preterist, but Lou doesn't care about truth, he doesn't care about intellectual honesty, and he doesn't care what scriptures say. Resurrection is eternal, doesn't end! I offered 3 challenges, which no futurist has accepted in over 2 years. Which proves futurists know they're defeated!
Julius Caesar, Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus, Tiberius Caesar Augustus, Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Servius Sulpicius Galba, Marcus Salvius Otho, Aulus Vitellius Germanicus, Imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus. 3 kings which reigned for very short periods of time Galba, Otho and Vitellius before the "little horn" remaining 7 kings are that of Revelation 17
@Supratube1 Rev 17:12 states that these 10 kings have no kingdom yet. The first name I checked on your list was Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus. He reigned from 63BC - 14 AD. He already had a kingdom. Please stop wasting my time. Thanks :)
@LOUISRUGG stop wasting your time, actually stop wasting other peoples time. You said ask a Preterist on Revelation 17:12, and it couldn't be answered more then likely. Please, I hear from all different eschatology views, to say a Preterist couldn't answer that is hilarious, or he is new to Preterism if he can't. I'm not even a full preterist and thats easy to answer since I heard plenty of preterist answer that, but you act like it was a million dollar question LOL
@Supratube1 I can't believe how ignorant you're being (no offense meant here). Rev 17:12 clearly states that these 10 kings HAVE NO KINGDOM AS OF YET. Then you, like the world champion you think you are, gives me names of kings that had already reigned. LOL. Get a grip, man! Get out of this Full Preterist thingy before you fool some naive person who is ignorant of Scripture. Some people will believe anything.
@LOUISRUGG Who's ignorant, if you can read, I responded with what a full preterist would say, NOT ME, you said a preterist couldn't answer that. Actually any preterist I know names kings on that. I didn't say I agreed with it, you make preterist sound like their so bad. It's funny, you are making a video on preterist, when their are when worse problems ahead. But keep making preterism videos, when a depression, famines, and a world currency issue becomes everybodys problems LOL talking preterism
@Supratube1 Full Preterism is a damnable heresy. It denies the bodily return of Christ and the resurrection. In my opinion, it shouldn't be grouped in with Christianity (if it even is at all). It also takes away our blessed hope. I'm glad you don't agree with it. BTW, I'm only doing one more video refuting it anyway, and it'll be coming up shortly (on Matt 24:34). Anyone embracing it is a fool. But it does need to be addressed to help insure that nobody falls for the nonsense.
@LOUISRUGG Part 1 while I don't agree with it brother, I have a few preterist friends. They love the Lord Jesus Christ, and preach Jesus is Lord all the time. They are the same as my futurist brothers, except their end times is different. Some of my preterist brothers explain, the body of Christ is the church, the church would have never been able to exist, cause that generation would have killed off all Christians and the church if not for ad70.
@LOUISRUGG preterist consider themselves Christians, like futurist consider themselves Christians. Their eschatology is preterism, while most our futurism.
@LOUISRUGG preterist believe exactly what futurist christians believe, but on Christs return they differ. So my point is they are christians and saved when they physically die, and will be with the Lord just like a futurist will. So why make them sound like a seriously bad cult, a bad cult to me is a group of people that would go around killing someone if they didn't believe the way they did.
@LOUISRUGG part 2 They say the third temple is a spirtual temple that can't be removed. The temple is us, the believers in Christ, since the third temple in the old testament said it isn't built with man hands. It denies bodily, but they say he did return, but how? Paul said rest with us when the Lord is revealed from heaven. How was he revealed, AS God, cause Christ came in like manner the Father did in the old testamnet, on clouds in judgement. No full preterist I know denies the resurrection.
@LOUISRUGG They say the resurrection has passed. It doesn't mean man today can't enter, this event they say took place, Christ gave his wife one last chance before destroying the old convenant, and bring in the new. New heavens new earth, and anyman that wants to come in now can, since his bride is the church. It doesn't matter if Christ did return in 70, or if it is a future event, man can still get to heaven. To say preterist can't cause they are wrong is like saying pre, mid post can'tIfWrong
@LOUISRUGG now my futurist brother you may laugh and say they call this new heavens and new earth, were is the kingdom. My preterist brothers say the kingdom is within you, we are now the bride of Christ, the kingdom is ours, and it isn't just israels anymore, it's for anyman that wants to come in. After satan is defeated, cast into the lake of fire, second death and has now power, John saw new heavens and new earth Revelation 22:2 explains on both sides of the river is the tree of life
@LOUISRUGG part 5, what is the tree of life doing in new heavens and new earth. It says its for the healinging of the nations, so preterist explain, if your not sick, you don't need healing. Apparently their are still sick, and new the tree of life to be saved. The verse that says no more crying or death, refers to spiritual death they say, and the crying that they were refering to was they wanted part of the kingdom, and at that time it was on for his wife israel, now its for anyman who excepts
@Supratube1 Ask Lou why he backed out of a debate with me (A Full Preterist) He'll tell you because he's already debated & defeated the best of the best, Don Preston. Isn't it natural for both debators to say such? I've offered Lou my challenges against Futurist Eschatology, over and over again. Go to my Youtube page and click on the link for my website. I even added an additional challenge with people like Lou in mind.
@Eschatology101 I will go check your website. I do agree totally that a futurist has to twist and butcher the scripture more then a full pret would. I would score the full preterist views highest, but even though their view makes the most sense to me, I keep watch regardless just in case. I enjoy all views on eschatology, and I'm not sure which is 100% correct, I'm a man, and can be easily wrong by saying full preterist are correct. We all r brothers in 1, Christ, regardless Partial or Fullprets
@LOUISRUGG Army? No no, this is Yuri, Uriyahu, the one who hanged with Eesh Gibbor and Angelic Earthling...you know, the one you always run away from. =P
Nothing much. Kind of boring these days. Trinitarians aren't a challenge anymore. Thus, I'm looking forward to that 5 part series you mentioned on Jesus' deity and the trinity.
Keep up with the videos, there's more people hear willing to listen than there is on Paltalk. Paltalk is good for having your views challenged and challenging someone else's views, which helps one to grow in their theology. =)
@TheGenuineChristian Thanks for the advice. Yep, I'm done with Paltalk for a while. Ten years is enough for me. Maybe I'll go back but, right now, I'll be doing the vids. I'll probably start the Deity of Jesus and the Trinity series in 2 weeks. I'm sure the response will be much greater than the Calvinist and Preterist vids. That's everyone's favorite topic. :)
Well, hopefully we can discuss it over videos and let the public (world wide) benefit from it, unlike Paltalk where text scrolls up and barely anyone pays attention to someone on the mic.
You just proved you are ignorant. You are a true Product of Roman Catholic Catholicism. When Constantine mixed Christianity with paganism. :)
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG As always, Lou takes the low road and has to resort to ad-hom and/or strawman statements. Lou win't debate me because I've embarrassed him too many times in paltalk. He backed out of our debate for that very reason. You need a challenge? What a joke, I offered you 3. The Futurist constant refusal to address my 3 challenges exposes the truth that it is the Futurist who MUST alter & change meaning of words & phrases, audience relevance, timing & nature of fulfillment more. Irrefutable!
Eschatology101 1 year ago
@Eschatology101 I said I'm not going to debate you. That wasn't meant to be an ad-hom. Sorry you took it that way. I said that you were easy. That wasn't meant to be an ad-hom either. What I meant was refuting Full Preterism is so easy a child can do it. Go find Don Preston. If he agrees to debate me on the legitimacy of Full Preterism using the entire Bible, I'll happily debate him again. He has my number.
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG I'm easy? Well then pick one of the 3 challenges and prove how easy it is.. Like I said Lou. Over 2 years and not ONE Futurist has ever attampted to disprove any one of the 3. That speaks for itself.
Eschatology101 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG How many times has Don already creamed you in debates Lou? You want more? lol......... You do have an ego problem.
Eschatology101 1 year ago 2
@Eschatology101 My debates with Don Preston have been recorded and placed on my web site. I have nothing to be embarassed about. If you think he won any of those debates, you are either delusional, or in denial. My opinion is that you're both.

Hbr 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels
Lou YE ARE SOME UNTO? What is your answer?
BREBISLIBEREE 1 year ago
2 Timothy 2:16-18 He already told you Hymenaeus and Philetus said the resurrection is past already, IN HIS TIME, before it was ad70 they said this! Are these 2 men alive today, nope, so nice try.
Preterist don't say where is the promise of the coming, they said he did AD70
Transfiguration was a vision of His Coming, and Moses and Elias was removed, removing moses, the law, and prophets, now how do you remove that, BY DESTROYING THE 2ND TEMPLE, so you admit his coming was in AD70!
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Nice commentary. The point is, they saw Jesus' coming (in a vision). It was a vision of a future event. Stop building a strawman.
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG yes a future event that was explained flawless by Christ on what would happen.
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Don't concern yourself with Lou, Supra. Lou is cluless; who rather than paying attention to what I say I believe, he lumps me into his false categories. I've told Lou numerous times that I'm no 70 AD preterist, but Lou doesn't care about truth, he doesn't care about intellectual honesty, and he doesn't care what scriptures say. Resurrection is eternal, doesn't end! I offered 3 challenges, which no futurist has accepted in over 2 years. Which proves futurists know they're defeated!

Revelation 17:12 ten kings
Julius Caesar, Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus, Tiberius Caesar Augustus, Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Servius Sulpicius Galba, Marcus Salvius Otho, Aulus Vitellius Germanicus, Imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus. 3 kings which reigned for very short periods of time Galba, Otho and Vitellius before the "little horn" remaining 7 kings are that of Revelation 17
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Rev 17:12 states that these 10 kings have no kingdom yet. The first name I checked on your list was Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus. He reigned from 63BC - 14 AD. He already had a kingdom. Please stop wasting my time. Thanks :)
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG stop wasting your time, actually stop wasting other peoples time. You said ask a Preterist on Revelation 17:12, and it couldn't be answered more then likely. Please, I hear from all different eschatology views, to say a Preterist couldn't answer that is hilarious, or he is new to Preterism if he can't. I'm not even a full preterist and thats easy to answer since I heard plenty of preterist answer that, but you act like it was a million dollar question LOL
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 I can't believe how ignorant you're being (no offense meant here). Rev 17:12 clearly states that these 10 kings HAVE NO KINGDOM AS OF YET. Then you, like the world champion you think you are, gives me names of kings that had already reigned. LOL. Get a grip, man! Get out of this Full Preterist thingy before you fool some naive person who is ignorant of Scripture. Some people will believe anything.
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG Who's ignorant, if you can read, I responded with what a full preterist would say, NOT ME, you said a preterist couldn't answer that. Actually any preterist I know names kings on that. I didn't say I agreed with it, you make preterist sound like their so bad. It's funny, you are making a video on preterist, when their are when worse problems ahead. But keep making preterism videos, when a depression, famines, and a world currency issue becomes everybodys problems LOL talking preterism
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Full Preterism is a damnable heresy. It denies the bodily return of Christ and the resurrection. In my opinion, it shouldn't be grouped in with Christianity (if it even is at all). It also takes away our blessed hope. I'm glad you don't agree with it. BTW, I'm only doing one more video refuting it anyway, and it'll be coming up shortly (on Matt 24:34). Anyone embracing it is a fool. But it does need to be addressed to help insure that nobody falls for the nonsense.
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG Part 1 while I don't agree with it brother, I have a few preterist friends. They love the Lord Jesus Christ, and preach Jesus is Lord all the time. They are the same as my futurist brothers, except their end times is different. Some of my preterist brothers explain, the body of Christ is the church, the church would have never been able to exist, cause that generation would have killed off all Christians and the church if not for ad70.
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Jehovah's Witnesses love the Lord too. But that doesn't mean they are Christians.
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG preterist consider themselves Christians, like futurist consider themselves Christians. Their eschatology is preterism, while most our futurism.
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Jehovah's Witnesses consider themselves Christians too. So do Mormons. So what's your point?
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG preterist believe exactly what futurist christians believe, but on Christs return they differ. So my point is they are christians and saved when they physically die, and will be with the Lord just like a futurist will. So why make them sound like a seriously bad cult, a bad cult to me is a group of people that would go around killing someone if they didn't believe the way they did.
Supratube1 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG part 2 They say the third temple is a spirtual temple that can't be removed. The temple is us, the believers in Christ, since the third temple in the old testament said it isn't built with man hands. It denies bodily, but they say he did return, but how? Paul said rest with us when the Lord is revealed from heaven. How was he revealed, AS God, cause Christ came in like manner the Father did in the old testamnet, on clouds in judgement. No full preterist I know denies the resurrection.
Supratube1 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG They say the resurrection has passed. It doesn't mean man today can't enter, this event they say took place, Christ gave his wife one last chance before destroying the old convenant, and bring in the new. New heavens new earth, and anyman that wants to come in now can, since his bride is the church. It doesn't matter if Christ did return in 70, or if it is a future event, man can still get to heaven. To say preterist can't cause they are wrong is like saying pre, mid post can'tIfWrong
Supratube1 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG now my futurist brother you may laugh and say they call this new heavens and new earth, were is the kingdom. My preterist brothers say the kingdom is within you, we are now the bride of Christ, the kingdom is ours, and it isn't just israels anymore, it's for anyman that wants to come in. After satan is defeated, cast into the lake of fire, second death and has now power, John saw new heavens and new earth Revelation 22:2 explains on both sides of the river is the tree of life
Supratube1 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG part 5, what is the tree of life doing in new heavens and new earth. It says its for the healinging of the nations, so preterist explain, if your not sick, you don't need healing. Apparently their are still sick, and new the tree of life to be saved. The verse that says no more crying or death, refers to spiritual death they say, and the crying that they were refering to was they wanted part of the kingdom, and at that time it was on for his wife israel, now its for anyman who excepts
Supratube1 1 year ago
@Supratube1 Ask Lou why he backed out of a debate with me (A Full Preterist) He'll tell you because he's already debated & defeated the best of the best, Don Preston. Isn't it natural for both debators to say such? I've offered Lou my challenges against Futurist Eschatology, over and over again. Go to my Youtube page and click on the link for my website. I even added an additional challenge with people like Lou in mind.
Eschatology101 1 year ago

TheGenuineChristian 1 year ago
@TheGenuineChristian Aha, Yuri! OK! I thought you were Armyofthe12Monkeys on Paltalk. LOLOL. How's it goin', Yuri?
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG
I knew you meant him when you said Army.
TheGenuineChristian 1 year ago
@TheGenuineChristian Thanks for the advice. Yep, I'm done with Paltalk for a while. Ten years is enough for me. Maybe I'll go back but, right now, I'll be doing the vids. I'll probably start the Deity of Jesus and the Trinity series in 2 weeks. I'm sure the response will be much greater than the Calvinist and Preterist vids. That's everyone's favorite topic. :)
LOUISRUGG 1 year ago
@LOUISRUGG
In 2 weeks? Alright. =)
Well, hopefully we can discuss it over videos and let the public (world wide) benefit from it, unlike Paltalk where text scrolls up and barely anyone pays attention to someone on the mic.

LOL, LouRugg. I'll be looking forward to that "5 part series on Jesus' deity and the trinity." I'll be sure to respond with my refutations. =)
