Its SO amazing to see how far this series has come, and expected there would be good look backs to come. When it ends I will be proud to say I was a fan of an awesome show. True story :)
I love Smallville, but Season 9 was for the most part an atrocity. Production values were so low, and the writing so shoddy, that the show was almost unrecognizable in comparison to the Smallville of Seasons 1-8. I truly hope that Season 10 sees a return to the production and writing quality of Seasons 1-5.
I love this show and hate to see it leave. Well i have all seasons, thats available, on DVD and will treasure them. And i agree, he should break out the infamous costume that we all are familiar with.
I am still utterly shocked that The lousy CW is actually promoting Smallville--- It's almost like they want people to watch the show or something! The show needs to get its act together for this final season though-------seriously. The budget needs to be increased back to Season 4/Season 5 levels, Welling needs to get back in Season 4 shape (yeah Tom, we've noticed you're looking puffy around the neck and jaw---very un-Superman like!), and they need to hire new writers.
i hope clark will beg jor'el to turn back time 10 years back and start the H.S. episodes all over again. Back when life was simple n harmonious in smallville.

I really don't wanna see him using Superman Return's suit. Keep the blue but make the cape bright and change the symbol S to the original comic S or Christopher's Reeve's Logo. We'll just have to wait AND see. I heard Supergirl is getting her suit. Suppose to be a inspiration to clark :D

Warner Bros will VETO any Batman TV series because of the Nolan films. And anything not in the Nolan films is covered by the Direct-to-Video Animated movies or cartoon series. e.g. There's going to be a Batman: Year One animated film sometime next year. They should just do a Nightwing TV series in Bludhaven. The Nolan franchise will end with the 3rd film and even IF Robin (Dick Grayson) is introduced he'd be a little kid so no problems there.

And CW, for the last season, please release promo photos (strangely absent for season 9, with tacky Photoshop'd heads on mismatching bodies from years past!!), as well as have the make up crew put Clark's hair back the way it originally was. That high forehead, over-brushed look just does not fit. Bring back the original Clark cut and style we all came to know and recognize! Finally, lose the Matrix-esque outfit and bring back normal clothes with differing combinations of reds and blues.

Smallville gave Lional who was a perfect villian, it showed how Lex could turn so evil. Smallville created the character of Chloe which is now being written into the comics. It gave us younger versions of Martha and Johnathan who could actually participate in Clark's journey, Annette and John are the best versions of their characters. Smallville gave us the original and great Christopher Reeve and Tom welling a scene which was kind of like a passing of the torch. Smallville is legendary.
Smallville was a breath of fresh air the superman franchise needed. We had Lois and Clark in the 90's and it was alright for a romantic comedy but Smallville took the mythology of superman and pumped some 21st century into it which is why Smallville has remained on for ten years. Smallville gave us a Lex who for the first time was an actual villian and not a crazy guy with some crazy plan every week. I can't wait for the tenth season.
It's so weird to see Clark from the first seasons and compare him to the person he is now. Can you imagine season 2 Clark fighting monsters or alien villains? Wow. Love his evolution from an unsure teen to a full-fledged superhero.

@emmanuelabcdefg Yeah, for sure---- Smallville's special effects in SEASON ONE were far superior to the "special effects" in season nine! How pathetic is THAT? The CW made a huge mistake in destroying Smallville's product budget post-Season 7, and the laughable CG effects and severely decreased production values are readily apparent. It's really sad what the dimwitted, greed-consumed executives at the CW (like Dawn Ostroff) have done to Smallville!

Warner Bros will VETO any Batman TV series because of the Nolan films. And anything not in the Nolan films is covered by the Direct-to-Video Animated movies or cartoon series. e.g. There's going to be a Batman: Year One animated film sometime next year. They should just do a Nightwing TV series in Bludhaven. The Nolan franchise will end with the 3rd film and even IF Robin (Dick Grayson) is introduced he'd be a little kid so no problems there.

And CW, for the last season, please release promo photos (strangely absent for season 9, with tacky Photoshop'd heads on mismatching bodies from years past!!), as well as have the make up crew put Clark's hair back the way it originally was. That high forehead, over-brushed look just does not fit. Bring back the original Clark cut and style we all came to know and recognize! Finally, lose the Matrix-esque outfit and bring back normal clothes with differing combinations of reds and blues.

Warner Bros. already made a huge misfire with Superman Returns, catering to perceptions of Superman that are based on the Donner films, and as a result of that, people who didn't like the old movies didn't care about Superman Returns. You think they'll make a risk like that a second time? No fucking way.

Smallville gave Lional who was a perfect villian, it showed how Lex could turn so evil. Smallville created the character of Chloe which is now being written into the comics. It gave us younger versions of Martha and Johnathan who could actually participate in Clark's journey, Annette and John are the best versions of their characters. Smallville gave us the original and great Christopher Reeve and Tom welling a scene which was kind of like a passing of the torch. Smallville is legendary.

Smallville was a breath of fresh air the superman franchise needed. We had Lois and Clark in the 90's and it was alright for a romantic comedy but Smallville took the mythology of superman and pumped some 21st century into it which is why Smallville has remained on for ten years. Smallville gave us a Lex who for the first time was an actual villian and not a crazy guy with some crazy plan every week. I can't wait for the tenth season.

It's so weird to see Clark from the first seasons and compare him to the person he is now. Can you imagine season 2 Clark fighting monsters or alien villains? Wow. Love his evolution from an unsure teen to a full-fledged superhero.

The character has been butchered and turned into the stereotypical emo protagonist you find in every teen-oriented crapfest, and if the goal was to present the origin of Superman, they failed incredibly. It's a terrible show and it's a terrible Superman show.
