@TimHall42 Hi Tim, I'm not entirely sure how soon they were fitted but when D5902 (as it was then) arrived at the Markeaton Park Light Railway it had a pair of horns from a Class 47 fitted. Sadly these are no longer fitted as they drained out air tanks within a few good blasts. Regards, Michael
Hello Greg nice video there. I've always wanted to see what it looked like before my mate got hold hold it and performed a major rebuild. It now runs as D5905 'City of Derby' on the Markeaton Park Light Railway.
I could be wrong when I say this but I think it may have been built for use at Carnforth. After running at Carnforth for a while it was sold to a private individual who ran it at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. After running at Cleethorpes for a few years it was sold onto to my friend. It was then rebuilt and put into service as D5905 City of Derby on the Markeaton Park Light Railway where she remains to this day. I hope this helps. Cheers, Michael
