i grew up in the sticks, with a single white mother, raising me alone me and my brother, we are as white ass as it gets, but we used to dance our butts off to this and appreciate the beat and rhythm... i would find a way to see this live. SAVE OUR TEACHERS, i was raised by one and i will gladfully pay more out of my cap gains in taxes for the youth and cultural heritage studies.
Its a crime that our young black kids will not know this kind of music on the radio. To enjoy being black for positive reasons. All they know now is being proud of shameful things. Can you imagine if this wave of music continued? I've heard the argument, "people don't want to hear anything positive." Well, what was so different then? You put it on the radio and people will listen. I think the real problem was, people WERE listening.
very nice piece of footage, these people have such a beautiful attitude, I can get with this real good... somewhere I have some of their cd's, I must dig them out and listen again... thank you :)
I don't understand cause there's really only the one guy that raps everyone just dances around an sing backup, so why is there so many of them?
