Adri i love ur videos but you should try interlocking the hair with a crochet needle. there may be videos on youtube about how to do it but you don't need any product and it stays permanent unlike twisting. :)

Im so glad to see this video, because my son who is eight years old, want's dreads and we have been trying to do it now for about 3 months his hair is growing nicely I just didn't know if I was doing it right. Seeing this let's me know that I'm doing ok, his hair isn't that long though so doing the palm roll now would be hard to do, so what should I do in the mean time?

Do u ever re-twist his dreds with some sort of wax like Jamaican mango and lime wax? My man has me using wax to re-twist his dreds. I never used it on anybody else hair I dred but he insists that I do but its not locking his hair very well.
