once, in riften, i witnsessed a guard sitting on a bench, then immediatly getting up, then sitting back down again, i attempted to sit on this same bench, but saw my character was sitting on thin air facing the bench, when i attempted to get up i shot into the air like id been hit by 1000 giants, after about 2 mins of falling and laughing in equal measure, i landed just outside of whiterun

@OpticRapt0r I'm inclined to disbelieve you, because the way skyrim works is loading most cities as "cells" Which basically means there's nothing beyond riften's walls unless you use the gate to enter the world cell. So it's impossible to fly up in riften and then land in front of whiterun.

@pokemonevee well, it was more like the untextured shell of whiterun, i imagine this is because of the cell system you mentioned, there have also been times when after paying off my solitude bounty, instead of spawning on solid ground, i spawned a good 50 feet below and i could see the outlines of several monutains and cities in the distance
