i think of poison, motley crue, hanoi rocks, ratt, steve vai, mr. big, yngwie malmsteen, david lee roth's yankee rose, gizmo from gremlins, the 2 coreys, pac man, tommy lee backstage spinning those sticks, george lynch, once bitten twice shy, here i go again, girlschool by britny fox, teenage mutant ninja turtles, jason voorhees,
ok I have been TRYING to remember a movie I use to watch as a little girl(late 80's early 90's)...This little girl is in either her room or her brother's room,a nd she has his red ball cap that she "stole" and they end up going into the mirror? Did I dream this movie up? I think their Aunt or mom was sick and they had to bring back these special pills that would save her, and they ended up dropping them right as they came back through the mirror? Was I dreaming this? Anyone remember?
Before they use to make real movies, movies that 30 years before we can still watch now with our kids, now its everything about a stupid war, a stupid violence, a stupid justin bieber.
lol , i am on you tube looking up movies from the time i was a kid , i found alot of the ones i forgot also . here is some i remember and some dont . RAD , weired sience , dirtbike kid , MAC and me , the explorers , Flight of the Navigator . short circuit , ET , goonies . bill and ted , karate kid , pee wee , and so many more. they dont make them like that anymore .
i have a 6 year old son and watch one a week with him and he loves them .
ET, Flight of navigator, Garbage Pail Kids - Original, ghostbusters, goonies & many others im pleased to have my kids growing on all exactly as i did hehe Along with also all ep's fraggle rock, smurfs, superted, dogtanian, jimbo, bananaman, supergran, dennis (original yellow haired), snoopy, flintstones, POB, muppet babies, raggy dolls, rosie & jim & just tons more. Kids today days are missing out as we had it amazing as kids, atleast ive been able to share some of that magic with my kids.
1 reason, They were the best movies EVER!... Ive got as many old movies i grew up on in the 80s & 90s that my kids i have now just love so much & are watched by them far more than any of the modern tv & movies available for them.. They love all my old fav movies with the same passion i did back then but they also watch constantly tons of my old fav tv shows like fraggle rock etc. Just shows how good they were as the crap of today wont be loved in a year let alone still in 15+! WE HAD IT GREAT!!
ET is the second coming of Christ! How dare you not like it! I cried at the end of the movie!!! I was a kid but still that movie is sacred! Beware heathen's for E.T. shall not be besmirched!
I had to watch them on tv or vhs (in the 90s) since I wasn't born until mid 80s. I have seen some of the ones you mentioned and yes those are some awesome movies too!
i have lil monsters on dvd, an in bill n teds im gna get a job at water luge which is really ragin waters in san dimas los angeles and they filmed back to the future in whittier where i live
Question, did kids outside of Cali understand that the reason that Bill and Ted were so dopey was because they lived in the middle of the desert where every kid smoked dope and hung out in front of convenience stores...and not because they were surfers? I remember wondering that when all I knew was Cali lol.
Nowadays they would just have shown the principles smoking dope. I miss the days of movies only hinting...making us feel as though we were in on a secret.
@lesterclaypool1 true dat bill n teds is why im gettin a job at ragin waters which was water luge for the movie in san dimas... and the bikini boo's haha
@star579 No offense intended. Do you mean 80s movies that were shown on TV a few years later or did you see 80s movies on a VCR? The 80s did have some good movies, it was fun being a teenager during early 80s. The movies didn't take themselves seriously and were fun. From the 70s, you may enjoy " The Bad News Bears Breaking Training, Blazzing Saddles, or Monty Python's Holy Grail.
@KaydeyRai I really liked movies from the 80s because they didn't take themselves seriously. However, the best movies came from the 70s, there is a good reason why over 100 remakes are from the 70s. None of these movies will have the impact on their immediate audiences as The Exorcist, JAWS, and STAR WARS did.
How many remakes of 80s movies have been made? However, when it comes to movies of teen comedies, you can't beat the 80s, they were light hearted and fun.
we were talking about comedy movies on my bus at school, and i said "Hey did you ever see bill and teds excellent adventure?" and he said "Bill and ted, i hate those 2 morons" lol
@Superjuniorbox15 I remember a movie called North with Elijah Wood, where he goes on a search for better parents after deciding to become a free agent by divorcing his parents...That might be the film you are thinking of.
does anyone know a film where there is a rich orphan and he goes to different parts of the world looking fora family. He goes to hawaii and he is on a billboard
WOW. I really like the way you put this together! I'm going to wait to watch the others until my husband gets home. He needs to see this. I was born in 81 and he was born in 74... your videos hit home in a BIG way! *high five*
