I have a 2006 nissan maxima spec-R V6 220kw cvt traction control vdc and it rocks fastest speed i have gotten it up to is 220kmh

i have an 04, and it's an sl, i like the luxury the car offers, as opposed to the se...basically the same performance...as for the o7's new grill, i do not like it, it looks too much like an altima, hey, the whole car,wheel arches, side view, looks like an altima too, or, the altima looks like the maxima. i like the '04-'06 grills and side lights better, more distinctive, and it looks like new, still !

The 07 is a step in the right direction for the 6th gen maxima. the CVT isn't a bad replacement for the 5AT as I've seen it extract more performance from the much smaller Versa and Sentra. I'd really like to see them put this car on a diet, drop the HR variant of the VQ in there, fix the ass and bring back the 6-speed.

BTW, JattPadda; you're an Idiot. the car didn't lose ANY power to the 06, it's simply being rated by the new SAE standard.

i like the previous models the best. 2002-2003 especially. the new ones look like a bloated whale lol just looks fat.  the 02-03 ones look the most sportiest even those they're few years old already i'd still take those over the new ones.

new front end, not a shot but looks like altima gear, now taking a shot, they removed the manual tranny option, how lame. CVT = one thumb down ! cones and rubber bands ? dont tell any kids, they may try to get into the tranny looking for ice cream and toys! chrome pieces? do you get any mothers chrome polish along with purchase ? i love the maxima but sad to see it continue to decline from sports sedan to just another car.

the 07 max sucks. CVT transmission screwed up the car. and its 255 horsepower. the 06 has 265.the 06 also has a chrome grill and this one sucks

oh wow that guy was a freaking retard. The interior changed much more dramatically than under the hood (which did not change at all)

They changed the transmission to CVT, restyled the front end, wheels, rear bumper, a COMPLETELY different dash/instrument panel, seats, etc.
