  • Nice Twachtman, but for $20,000 you get a follower of Inness and Whistler, and someone whose work is consistent with that of other Tonalists. Twachtman adds little that is new.

  • yeah i have to agree...$20,000 for this...at least for the painting itself seems a bit ridiculous...now my guess is that the artist and age of the painting is most likely the cause of such a price.....
