Kung Fu Panda Soundtrack - Shifu Faces Tai Long

Kung fu Panda is one of the best animated films of this generation because of the ridiculous amount of character development which brilliantly captivates the audience into bonding with the characters. If you thought for even a single second that Kung fu Panda couldn't release another emotional character plot that was deeper than Tai Lung and Lord Shen be ready for 2014. Dreamworks is developing a return for the 3rd sequel to the franchise and I've read the plot. Return of the Dragon Warrior!

One of the things which makes this movie such a good one is how sympathetic the villain is made.

Raised all his life to believe he is the Dragon Warrior, only to have that dream taken from him. His anger getting the better of him and causing him to spend much of his life in prison.

His broken relationship with the man who raised him really is the beating heart of this movie. This scene they have together is one of the most emotional I've ever seen in an animated film.

Well done Dreamworks.

what I really hate in some movies is that many awesome soundtracks're too quiet, even when I watch them in cinema...other sounds just drown beautifull music...pity

Shifu is my favourite charachter :) He's the strongest one of the movie.

Po owned Tai Long only cause he's unpredictable, but Shifu is a thousand way better.

Tai Lung = Anakin

Shifu vs Tai Lung = Anakin vs Obi-Wan

I only wish Anakin vs Obi-Wan on Mustafar would've been as epic as Shifu vs Tai Lung! But the emotion in both fights are equivalent: the student feels the master was a failure, and the master regrets it, putting the student's and teacher's relationship at risk.

I always get choked up at this scene. So much emotional climax. Tai Long forcing Shifu to confront his overwhelming guilt in failing his student and surrogate son utterly and him finally accepting what happened.

@Yangjazon I am Brazilian and I always loved the voiceovers in my country. All films from Dreamworks were well voiced here. But in Kung Fu Panda ... for me, the original voice acting, with Dustin Hoffman and Ian Mc Shane, will always be better.
