Since like most J-Dubs, this one has run from questions they can't or won't answer, let me....Despite Jesus instructing ALL to partake of the bread and wine, only a very few "special" JW's do it. The vast majority (almost all of them) do not partake. - And just for the record, the current teaching (it is hard to keep up with their ever changing doctrine,) is that as a rank and file JW, Jesus is NOT your mediator. - You only gain salvation by your association with the "organization."

I was there also. I was raised a JW, as my father was baptized many years before i was born. 1975 was very much emphasized as the end. My mother was baptized in 73 and I in 74 at age 11. My parents sold their house and bought a camper and moved to where "the need was great". We lived on what little money they had received from the sale of the house. Built a new Kingdom Hall. My father had to start working again as my mother was hospitalized and then me. We had to move back to our home town in 77

@djaxxx51 I remember the Pastor saying a prayer over the ship before the planes left the carrier deck to go and drop bombs on people that could not defend themselves aginst such a thing!! I would much rather be counted with the Witnesses than those that condone war and the killing of anyone especialy if Jesus Tells us not to kill but to love our enemy! Yeah I wasn't arguing, I was saying one of the speeches you can listen to, it was either a governing body member of a circuit overseer who also said "If you're not alive in 75 it's your own fault." Like if you got in a car accident the next day or someone shot you in an attempted robbery it was your fault you didn't live to see 75.

I personally gave up an apprenticeship to pioneer full time. I remember going round the doors after the 'Truth ' book came out, and I was telling people this may be the last time we come round. This was because it was instilled in all of us that Armageddon was upon us.

All those witnesses that were around at the time no the truth that is shown in this video.
