  • Olá pessoal da banda, acompanho vcs desde da década de 60 sou cantor e keyman defendi muito as songs da banda, wonderful.Abraços Django.

  • omg!!! who is lead singing? i've only known DCT to sing this song. i love this version1!!

  • Its so true. So few of today's "artists" (They don't even have the nerve to say musicians and singers) have absolutely no talent. Rather than "practice" to get it right, they get one cut and lip sink their concerts. People (mostly kids) pay hundreds to see such shows.

  • GREAT BAND FOR THEIR TIME GREAT SONGS CHECK THEM OUT

  • Chale ! Que Manera de Desconponer canciones...

  • @sahibzitho Thats just the kind of ignorant comment you might expect from a fucking beaner who even says "chale".

  • Music that has real soul. They know music and it come through so clear in each note...

  • Thank u.

  • REAL music!

  • Spinning Wheel and You Made Me So Very Happy were in the Top 20 of Billboard that's to bad...

  • @plee13821 And apparently in the early 1980's they even showed up on several Album Oriented Rock stations. UGH! Well, at least that didn't last very long, though.

  • I like this lineup of Blood Sweat & Tears. They are very relaxed and the rapport they have with each other is excellent. The lead singer doesn't dominate, but rather coaxs the best out of these musicians. It is disappointing to learn they didn't have any hits.

  • The very first album I ever bought was a Blood Sweat & Tears album. It was 1972. I was EIGHT YEARS OLD!!! Even at that age, I knew good music!!!

  • David Clayton Thomas should be the only person allowed to sing this song in public. Period.

  • @darrinbaker00 Absolutely right, there is only one DCT.

  • Does anybody listen to this music anymore? I think it rocks!!! No electronics - the real thing! I could listen all day!

  • @golfgirl234 ikr, people who always listen to all that autotuned music think that it's wierd that i listen to songs like this, and they call this music crappy.

  • I have not been able to find any videos of this lineup with JF performing Spinning Wheel. Anybody know if they used to perform that song live back in the day?

  • ~~Awesome Live Footage!~~

  • I'd never sing in band after David-Clayton Thomas did it.

  • @baracatjr is this band's the original singer?

  • @busterbone He is the singer from their 2nd album till mid '70s, the most famous for sure. Check out sugestions, the video by whatiship73.

  • This is the best music every. I remember driving around with my older brother and learning and loving these songs. dawninidaho

  • This is the best music every. I remember driving around with my older brother and learning and loving these songs.

  • One of the best bands of all time - real talent, that simple.

  • @Madief "real talent" that sums it up, groups are pants today just rely on so called electronic wizardry.

  • Apparently someone wanted to hear Georg Wadenius' guitar line more than the brass at 2:54. He did not get featured enough in BS&T which is a shame since he is quite a good guitarist.

  • Great and no fucking Vevo. Love it.

  • Man it totally looks like they are playing in front of an audience of 3 people!!! Cud only wish I'd had been 1 of them. I've been following BS@T for a many years and let me tell you Jerry Fisher rocks the house...

  • I love how Lew Soloff pulls the harmon out so quickly to jump back into the section.

Jerry was a great singer as well.....

  • ahh sounds like The Doors. just the piano though

  • response ti ReDRuM868----You got that right...too many lazy suckers..that rely on sourcing to computers, and sampling , mixing...kids are getting dumfounded by garbage

with rythms that are stolen from the past....even the good singers of today..sound like singers from the 60's and 70' with no real individuality than the possible lyrics written for them...

  • DCT is the man and you all know it!

  • Amazing!

  • Nice try fellas (not!). How can these dudes think they could replace Thomas? The guy's sound is so distinctive....please, stop wastin time man....

  • This song is great this band is great

  • I saw this movie online for free at HuluFilms (.) NET

  • it's all about the horns! doze bros got dare shit down fuckin cold! like the funk bros, you cud put in mickey mouse or donald duck & get a hit ouda dat!

  • It isn't the same without John Clayton-Thomas

  • Yeah!

Jerry Fisher and DCT are certainly not the same thing.

That must be the truism of the month.

  • @elgorguz51

    David Clayton Thomas

  • Is great to see Jerry Fisher singing. True he's no DCT, but DCT was no Jerry Fisher

  • The Beat Club was THE place for artists to kick ass, it was like MTV went downhill, you know.

How was that one dude speaking in german, for that one second.

  • @phoneix91 That was George Wadenius, he's Swedish and clearly knows a spot of Deutshe

  • Was that Billy Preston playing keyboards? BTW, There is only one David Clayton Thomas. The guy did a nice job, but he ain't DCT!

  • Larry Willis on Keyboards. This is the line up from the 1972 album New Blood, which was their best in my opinion. Better than the David Clayton Thomas era stuff.

  • @thedonors - agreed!

  • GREAT JERRY FISHER

  • great

    Héctor from Uruguay

  • exelso

  • Mi mamá tiene un disco lp de ellos!!!

  • Live music is so much better than all the new age auto tune crap that they have going on now.

  • buenisimooooooo

  • What happened to bands who actually knew how to play their instruments. Geez I need a fucking time machine im so sick of this image driven society.

  • @ReDRuM868 A freakin men

  • @ReDRuM868 Very true,

  • @ReDRuM868 blah blah blah. Eat your oatmeal old man.

  • @ReDRuM868 Amen!

  • had to give that a thumbs up!

    no question about it

    peace )

  • @ReDRuM868 Uhhh, I hate to say this, but if it's the society being image-driven that you hate you'd have to go back to around the time pre-dating the invention of the printing press for your happiness. Let's not kid ourselves that even in this video we are looking at guys who didn't give a crap how they appeared. They didn't dress like cool hippie musicians circa early 70s by some kind of funny coincidental accident.

  • Jerry is great, and I think his voice has more range that DC's. Take a song like "Touch Me", Jerry sounds a lot b etter than DC could on that on many others. Although, DC was the perfect voice for "You Made Me So..."

  • Maravilhoso!!!

  • This guy couldnt put a pimple on DCT ass! Sucks

  • Jerry Fisher sings this song great. Some might say that David Clayton Thomas was better, but they both gave this song justice. Can anyone tell me if Jerry Fisher is still singing today, solo or w/ BCT?

  • it's not that this guy is bad, i was just expecting to hear David Clayton Thomas when I saw blood sweat & tears.

  • Comment removed

  • Damn! You don't hear good music like you did in the 50's-80's. And no I am not that old.

  • Man why so much negativity towards Jerry Fisher, the guy is fantastic. Different to Clayton Thomas in style but equally as talented

  • hey..someone yank that bozo off the stage..he`s killin the song..i saw him play with b,s, and tears..what a dissapointment..d. claton thomas made the band rock!!...you don`t believe me..go watch david singing this tune..then you will agree..

  • He sings this song great. Great voice!!

  • d mais!!

  • Bell Bottom smoooooooooooooooooooooth.

  • fantastico bravooooooooooo

  • Tis ain't David Claytoin thomas, It's Jerry Fisher

  • great performance!!!!!:-) clayton -thomas is a very fabulous singer!!!:-)

  • What a piss poor cover of a great song. Mr. Thomas is the only one that can sing this song.

  • Did Chicago and BST ever play together in recent years travelling kind of like what Chicago, America, and EWF have done and are doing now?

  • That's something I'd love to see. Even if Chicago did some BS&T covers that would be really awesome!

  • Musik Laden. One of the best German music shows. I didn't hook up with it until 1980.

  • Great to be reminded of what an awesome talent they were. Thanks.

  • The music, voice are amazing it has a dept that is more than just cheap pop music. The tones, bass trumpets a whole menage of classic rock & Jazz. Love it

  • bs&t WAS AHEAD OF CHICAGO...Chicago was much later...r

  • That's funny, poor man's Chicago. I still prefere Chicago.

  • A poor mans Chicago? I bloody well think not!

  • Billy Preston on keyboards, by the look of it!!

  • Nah, that's not Billy. Billy didn't wear glasses.

  • larry willis on keys - w/bs&t from 1972 to 78

great jazz and funk rhodes player.

  • Thank you so much, Jeremy!

    Regards from Hamburg, Germany

  • how many different singers did they have?! such a lot of different versions of this song-did the group change their members that often?

  • Yes, BS&T saw plenty of personnel changes in a short period of time, and not just on vocals. Al Kooper and Steve Katz sang most leads on the first two albums, as I recall. After Al Kooper was forced out, David Clayton Thomas came on board and for many listeners, defined the BS&T vocal sound. Jerry Fisher (featured here) took over from DCT around 1973. In '76 or '77, DCT led a regrouped but short-lived BS&T line-up.

  • Great great song , many thanks for posting this !

  • Great performance! Blood, Sweat and Tears rocked this song. And so did Brenda and Patrice Holloway for writing it.

  • Great song...Thanks for posting!!
