Imagine a really massive moving train (GM) that's making its own gasoline (cash) proportionally to its speed. The faster the train moves the more gasoline it makes. This train produces monster amounts of gasoline (cash in billions)...

I do not want to see any blue collar workers laid off because of the stupidity of company CEO's and higher management persons. In my opinion a place to start would be to take the top 2/3 of each of the big 3 corp. headquarters and out source those white collars right to the unemployment line and then lease out those offices.
