I've only recently been oriented with Systematic but good god they have talent. I have a specific taste and satisfaction for music. I prefer bands like Korn, Sevendust, Deftones, Lostprophets etc. So my first encounter involved ATV Off Road Fury 2 and the track Thick Skin. I was easily mezmerized my the well created lyrical composition. Then that song led to others like Leaving Only Scars, Beginning of the End, Deep Colors Bleed etc. So from what I can, Judge Systematic perfect band.
Between this song and "Mailbomb", I can't decide which one is better. AMAZING band. One of few bands I can say I enjoy every single song by. If you don't own their albums, do yourselves a favor and purchase. Both albums are must buys.
@Jhart811 Yes they do, It was a demo track. I forgot about this tune. I've got all their domo material except for "Liar's Dice". I'll call Adam and see if he will send it to me. Thanks for the reminder.
@bs2174 You'll call Adam? Well then. I have to say that's pretty cool to be able to contact him sir. I'm a huge fan of the band and was completely bummed out when they broke up. I have seen them twice in Las Vegas and have to say that they were awesome both times!! Actually, the first bad I ever saw live at my first concert was Systematic and I was blown away. Try to enjoy Blink 182 after a show as good as Systematic's!
Anyway, what can a guy do to get some of the demos of Systematic?
Systematic is doing a 10 year anniversary "Somewhere In Between" show on Aug 20th, 2011 at Slim's in San Francisco ,CA. Original lineup and special guests.
does it actually matter wether they fit into a particular genre ? are they good at what they do ? thought metal and rock fans were against the idea of conforming to such things. We gravitate to this kind of music based on the feeling it gives us not that it ticks the boxes of a certain criteria
saw them live in cloquet mn at high school hockey rink. they were with monster magnet and professional murder music. was a good show, sucks they never caught on long enough to even have a active torrent around.
@acereroycementero Are you aware that's several styles within the rock industry? does this band sound like Iron Maiden? Megadeath? that's what I mean.
I must brag, I know tim Narducci and he said we have permission to cover this song;) We shall give it a try too;) Systematic is badass!!!(and underrated)
@acereroycementero Hi, if you look up his new bands, Spiralarms and White Witch Canyon, or just his name on myspace and you can find him. He answers his own mail there. I have his phone #, but cannot share that;)My band opened a few gigs for White Witch Canyon and they are kickass:)Hope that helps...
I remember Lars Ulrich saying this was gonna be the next Metallica, but somewhere between this CD and their next, they just fucked up, Great Song And Video, could have been a huge band.
