  • Why is it leaning to one side?

  • its retarded

  • all helicopters with a tailrotor lean to one side. The tail pushes the heli to the left, so to stay in one place you need to trim it a little bit leaning to the right.

Most of the times you first notice it when you start flying nose in.

  • I don't think that is true, if it is whenever you do a hover near the ground one side of the landing gear would touch down first. We all know this is not the case with real or RC helis when coming down to land. I have NEVER seen a real helicopter unintentionally lean to one side while landing.

  • dude dont ask why then reject it. ALL helicopters lean in the direction of main rotor rotation. you probably have never noticed it because you arent a pilot, or trained observer. just some douche being rude to a man that took the time to educate your ignorant ass. prick.

  • It doesn't take a trained pilot or observer to see both landing skids on a heli touch down at the same time..LOL. Just look at the video you f*king dumbass, it doesn't get anymore obvious than that. BTW I OWN an RC heli and mine DOES NOT lean like that during a hover so explain that you cock sucker. Yeah I should listen to YOU because you're a bung hole sniffer..LOL.

  • you are a fucking moron. ALL helis real or not lean one way when they fly. yes i have real helis.... counter rotating heli's do not lean. go back to your blade cx and shut the fuck up. the amount the helicopter leans is directly related too head speed and tail rotor pitch. "real" helis have a tilted mainshaft so you dont see the illusion of a crooked heli.

  • You have a real heli? LOL..your mom gave you half million dollas for your 16th birthday? BTW real helis use the same swash plate as RC helis, they don't use a tilting main shaft LOL.

A heli is only supposed to lean when you want it to NOT during a fixed hover. If your heli leans while doing a fixed hover then it's a F*ked up POS. Show me a video of your REAL heli with its special "tilting mainshaft"...LOL.

  • not a tilting shaft you fuck. and who said anything about the swash?

ALL single rotor helis lean. go to pilotoutlook and read. it will show you with PICTURES that you might possibly be able to understand. its explains a} why helis lean b} how this lean is dealt with in both scale and model aircraft.

lastly this lean is called a translating tendency. go get an education you fuck.

i am far from 16....this is not my name.

  • Ok I will admit I just got owned by you. I still find this video to be very odd, it leans WAY too much. Is it because the 4 blades are causing too much torque so the tail rotor has to compensate by providing more thrust?

  • ;) i seldom choose to argue unless i know im right.

this video isnt framed perfectly, the camera is a little tilted. but really it seems the smaller the aircraft the more noticeable the lean. also when you fly you are focused on the heli itself, not looking at the heli from a observers standpoint where you can see the heli but all the surroundings as well. target fixation i suppose. this is what causes me to fly all kinds of shit into walls, ground, signs....

  • pickles are sexy

  • Looks like the extra blades simply replace the flybar. Pretty neat nontheless.

  • Can you tell us your modification. Please

  • nise job on the 4 blade systhen and nise job

  • Nice job on the 4 blade system!!
