  • Who sang that version of Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting?

  • Thans for representing Demolition in this video. To often they go un-acknowledged these days.

  • I remeber the Al Bundy intro, it seals the deal.

  • absolutely great. u put this together perfectly

  • I remember Al Bundy coming on Fox right before Saturday Night's Main Event came on in 1992 !!!! This is awesome thanks for posting !!!!

  • good job,cool vid

  • Great music video with mix of earlier and later!

  • When the WWE does SNME now, instead of using that shitty pod "boom" theme, they should be using this theme. This would fit SNME perfectly.

  • This wouldn't have been have as good without the Bundy intro.

  • Awesome!!

  • awesome use of al bundy in the begining lol was not expecting that

  • Is Al Bundy lifting a sandwich in the beginning.

  • Greatly put together video.

    Props.

  • this is a remake of an elton john song, "Dangerous" Danny Davis is a fan

  • You should look into re-editing this video, and incorporating the other newer episodes into it. This is a great video, but I don't think it'd hurt to update it a little bit...if that's possible. Keep up the good work.

  • I think I am one of the few people who has every single episode on tape

  • Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC (1985-1987) was the best!! I didn't care for the really late 80's and into the 90's! It got boring FAST!

  • i agree 100 percent, steamboat, savage, the old school wrestlers were the best

  • This was really well done.

  • whats the song?

  • I don't know why the WWE doesn't go back to doing Saturday Nights Main Event. I mean yeah...I know they do it nowadays but....I wish they would do it every Saturday night. I remember when I was a kid every time SNME was on my mom would cook a hearty meal just before it came on and we lived in a apartment back then. Nothing in the world like sitting on that old tan couch in our small living room watching SNME. WWE is not as good as it was from like 1989-1993...best time for WWE

  • the drop kicks are always amazing

  • AMAZING

  • Excellent video!! I miss the old days of Saturday Night's Main Event!! Less talking, and a lot more action.

  • 4 words: the Good old Times! :-) boy those tmes... I always snieked into our TV Room to watch it on mute causeI wasn't allowed! ..back then.. when i was a little kid! haaa... here n GErmany they always showed t on Monday night.. and i was always very sleepy next day in School :-)

  • Buck's paw is feeling really Bundy...

  • May Buck the dog rest in peace.

  • Awesome tribute!

  • Heenan Quote "Nine months and all they could think of was Junkyard?

  • Heenan ruled...

"A friend in need is a pest."

"Never hit a man when he's down, kick 'em it's easier."

    "It's not fair to Flair!"

and many others. Showdown: Ledgends of Wrestling for the PS2 has Heenan as a comintator and it's the only good thing about it :D

  • urbc this video almost made me tear, its one of the reasons im training to be a pro wrestler....i love this video it should never leae youtube

  • Saturday nights were indeed alright for fighting. Every month, 11:30pm. 90 minutes are matches, interviews, and fun. I got to go to a SNME taping. When I watched it a week later on TV, they added a whole bunch of crowd sweetening. Still fun to go to.

  • MARRIED WITH CHILDREN FOR LIFE!!!!

  • Dimebag (RIP) plays the guitar solo in this one!

  • that's the thing about the 80's and early 90's, even the least popular guys still had huge fan bases and received huge pops, everyone was unique. we need commentators who can get you into the match like Ventura, Heenan, and Monsoon. Cole just doesn't do it for me and JR is annoying as hell.

  • I agree, Michael Cole sucks so much ass! And JR just isn't the same as he used to be.

  • seeing all the greatest who aren't around anymore makes me sad. but they left their mark. good job.

  • super video - the internet has sure changed the face of professional wrestling, for the worse IMO. The old days are long gone but never forgotton. Thanks for the vid.

  • Great Video. SNME was a big part of my wrestling experience growing up in the mid/late-80's. This era of wrestling was simply the best.

  • great vid- reminds me just how much joy has been sucked out of wrestling nowadays...sure it was corny but it was also entertaining as hell and all the wrestlers had their own personas, even if some were awful...OLD SKOOL RULES!!!!

  • Thank you for that trip down memorey lane. As much as I miss seeing Hulk Hogan, Mena Gene Oakerland, Macho Man, Million Dollare Man, Mr. Perfect, Andrea the Giant, Big Boss Man, and so on in action. I miss the commentery work of Bobby Heanen, Jessy Ventera, Gorilla Monsoon.

  • this video makes me wanna cry....goddammit vince bring back the old days u rich bastard

  • What is the name of the song? I like that song very much.

  • The song is by Nickelback and is called Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting

  • classic from Elton John

  • Great job. Would it be possible to post a link so I could download and save this video? That would be so FN cool.

  • Nice vid. Do you have any of those full matches that you can upload on here? I really want to see the DiBiase/Hitman match.

  • great video wrestling just was so much better then thanks foe putting video up

  • AWSOME, thxs for sharing with us ur vid

  • verrrrry cool!!.. They should use that song now for the new SNME theme

  • Really great video. Awesome job.

  • My only gripe is the quality (which is out of your hands) either way 10/10!

  • FANTASTIC. Got me in the mood for another SNME.

  • Awesome video I love it

  • an awesome video, back when the WRESTLING was more important than the story lines

  • Cool tribute to the great show WWE still has to offer!

  • excellent video

  • Great video!!!
