White balance is terrible, purple sky and purple shadows. Contrast doesn't adjust well either. Great idea, but well behind Gopro. I own both Gopro and LIC.
@JeansForLife Really? So you enjoy looking like a Teletubby? I am assuming you do because your comments were not only immature, but completely off base. Everyone I know has switched from "the stick on your head with a box" to the Liquid Image goggles. We always knwo what we're filming and never have to worry abotu losign it or having it knowed off our heads when we shred! Stick to the bunny slopes with your 'box' and leave the hard-core shredding to the rest of us.
@scubasteve031961 Oh well sorry there sir. I guess my use of the words "ugly" and "hell" were very immature. Oh and my distasteful joke. Sorry about that. I'll leave you to "shred" with your cheaply made products and camera systems, and I'll ski the bunny slopes, my apologies... Grow up man, come on...
"...these goggles show exactly what we see..." - if we are stupid enough not to wear goggles in bright sunlight when we're surrounded by snow. we'd expect better from an opto-electronics manufacturer in the 2010s. i'd stick a piece of shade lens over this camera's eye. if it were cheap enough to worth the trouble.
@venkmanuk The sun is naturally bright, and snow is naturally reflective. These goggles show exactly what we see, the fact that they don't blur out when out in bright elements means that they have an excellent white balance/contrast. They also work great in low lighting, such as dusk, and cloudy days.
