@justinisthirteen i have an epiphone les paul special; i only ever play blues on it, it has a sick bass treble. generally fender 72 custom deluxe all the way though
the sound on the video doesn't really do it justice, I need a good mic! the sound and video was all recorded on my phone which is why you can hear the strings etc.
well I guess that depends on lots of things.... things like where you're from and what currency you work in, whether you want epiphone, gibson or any of the other LP copies, whether you would consider 2nd hand or only new etc. etc.
well looking online the best price I can find for a new one is around £300 (I'm from the UK so this might not be of any help to you at all depending on where you're from/buying one from) but on average I would expect to pay anything between £300 and £450
Very good! I would always recomment trying out any guitar you play first. I got this one for a good price and I liked it from the moment I picked it up.
If I hadn't bought this I would've tried a tokai or and edwards les paul. Give em a try if you see one, great guitars for the money
Thanks - Yes, it's an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Black Beauty - gold hardware and 3 stock humbuckers which I will probably change as soon as I get the money together
Thanks for the comment, I'm pretty happy with my amp though. This clip is recorded on my phone so you won't hear it at its best. Plus it wasn't as loud as it could be because I didn't want to annoy my neighbours and housemates!
is that epiphone or gibson?

@AlexM1175 Its not cos he's hitting the strings too hard, its because he's not palm muting.

I really want to buy this guitar!!!!
GabrielReschke 2 years ago
as an owner of gibson guitars, I can say that these epiphone customs are ALMOST on par with a gibson standard

MrKernan 3 years ago
Well i did rate of course :) I have a question for you. Did this sound came out of your amp, or did you use you Pod XT also ?
voltaspeeder17 3 years ago
I used both, the chain is guitar -> pod xt -> amp
the sound on the video doesn't really do it justice, I need a good mic! the sound and video was all recorded on my phone which is why you can hear the strings etc.
thanks for the rate!

A bit of both. I used a tab to get the basics and changed a bit here and there where I thought it sounded wrong etc.

just need to turn your amp up a tad cause you can hear the stings too much but other than that its good and love the guitar i might be buying one
N30N69 3 years ago
Yup, either that or get my camera closer to my amp and less close to the guitar.
Yeah it's a great guitar for the money IMO
thanks for the comment :)
