@iamhungey12345 true. If memory serves me right, the Bulls have beaten the most number of 50 and 60 win teams in history en route to their championships. They definitely had to go through some tough competition.
wat tha hell how n the world can u turn ur own home town against u lol pippen n mj did at 3:01 on up the crowd starts shoutin 4 the bulls lol i never seen kobe do this, OOHH I FORGOT HE WANTS TO BE LIKE MIKE lol there can only be one. MJ
i alwayz thought when he playd, he could nevr lose & nevr be stoppd. I can't say tht about anybody 2day. Evn aftr being gone 10 hrz, ppl still thnk he's the greatest. I just lovd watchng him, the greatest of all time
boy he loved rubbing it on zo - every time they played. mustve been his fav guy to dunk on or layup over. that reverse two hander was classic mj- and the dribble to get to the cup was the same move he did to the knicks when he crammed on ewing.
michael was so smooth and fluid- nobody moves like mj- he was basically as cooridinated and fluid as a 5'8 dancer - but in a 6'6 long armed - big hand frame. he would dominatee todays game even more-with zone d- with no illegal d, with no handchecking, weak centres, no inside d - like the bad boys and knicks , and no real great defensive guards like payton and dumars. he would still dominate in 20 years- basically he was way ahead of his time. todays nba is basically his offspring- all like mike
"Turnaround by Jordan...HE IS PHENOMENAL!!" Tell us something we don't already know, Verne Lundquist...hahahah it's amazing that on short rest and travel MJ was able to frequently have games like this AND LAUGH THE WHOLE TIME as if it were nothing more than practice...
just simply the best..and i know thats a huge statement, but seriously unstoppable in his prime..i look at the yesteryear and now i just dont see anyone any better..
hoopsencyclopedia dude, just what else is there to say?. People who play basketball need to all study the way to dunk, I simply just a short while ago completed the coaching course over at "50-inch-vertical[dot]com" - It's a must see! (I m merely 5'10!)
90s basketball were mature men..Its wasnt jus MJ..it was Tim Hardaway and Alonso Mourning, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Reggie Miller, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley..today's premium players are overhyped..got size maybe athletic ability but not soo much skilll
@msaherds If you take the PF/C position in the NBA, it is actually less athletic than it was with the top players in the 80's and 90's. Or would you pick today's PF/C players, like Howard, Gasol, Amare and Kevin Love over Kareem, McHale, Ewing, Robinson, Malone x2 (Moses & Karl), Barkley, Shawn Kemp (most athletic PF ever by the way), Hakeem...the list can go on forever. Not to mention those guys had way more skill and a grasp of basketball fundamentals, something that is missing today.
@75samuel75 There are videos of Hakeem teaching Howard moves. Absolutely it was better before. And back then they had basketball IQ which helped them in longevity. I can't see todays PF/C last too long because once their athletic ability goes down, their game will founder. Back then even shitty-knees Ewing could still be brilliant.
@osirisrox1 probably more than 10 rings in today's era during his prime. because he already had 9 straight titles won in the 90s if he was in uniform all of the 90s (1991-1999). we all know the Bulls had a triple 3 peat won.
Its just crazy how at the highest level of basketball someone could school dudes like in high school or pickup games at the park. Must be nice to the best in the world at something. Not many people could say that but he def could.
MJ was smart he got stayed slim but fit to make his game last longer but now NBA players like lebron and future players are making mistakes by getting bigger and stronger but there legs wont support them long and will reduce years for them in the NBA
@fkldjk ok example if your 6'7 and weight 250 you think your legs are gonna have the same lift when your 35 and playing in the nba thats gonna slow you down later on your career thats too much weight
@KinnereyB Actually he only lost it once to Malone, because when Malone won it in 1999 (still a ridiculous win, by then he was the last one remaining from his generation, and there were others far more deserving by then) Jordan already retired a second time.
hoopsencyclopedia, is 5 10, American and could dunk easily. what do you mean white guys can't jump? It's all about the training people do to get their particular leg strength to be strong enough to dunk. However for me, I personally used the training workout over at "50inch vertical (dot) com"

So true. Wade IMO is the closest to Jordan we have seen in this decade. His jump shot has come along ways and he continues to get better. Just imagine if Wade had that amount of talent Jordan had on his team.
I didnt mean he averaged 15 assists the whole year. I meant half the season he played PG! during half the season he was averaging about 12 assists per game. When they decided to put him back at SG his assists dropped. He was averaging just about as many triple doubles playing half a season than Magics best season as a PG. Thats what I was trying to say
why today's NBA players like Kobe and Lebron wanna be like Mike? There will be only one Michael Jordan.. why don't just do their own thing? In time there will be a player will be greater than MJ, but there will be only one AIR JORDAN.. and NBA players now a days look like Thugs and Gangsters.. i don't know why?
yap but Wade is a little shorter, but his ability to drive is similar with Jordan.
And he is also a great blocker as a SG, just like Jordan in his early career.
Kobe's style is like Jordan after 1993, but more fency dunks. Wade's style is like young Jordan, but weaker mid range.
James is not like Jordan, he is more unique, he is strong and fast, quick, but he seldom do low post offense, he is a outside player, but not that many mid range, just his stat close to Jordan.
SO far kobe, very very far kobenians, even practice basketball 24hrs everyday he can't be Michael Jordan.. Look how MJ move, just a simple basketball fundamentals, no head and shoulder fake.. but he can destroy his defender anytime he wants.. hahaha
hes already up there in age.... he past his peak hes still the best. if he didnt retire, i could definately pencil in 2 more championships .. those couldve been his PEAK years those 2.
wow dn23 you need to stop making comments that make you sound stupid. One year MJ played PG and averaged like 15 assists a game. MJ could most definately pass
ur right if im correct i believe hed averaged around 32ppg, 7 rpg, and 8 apg. 8 assists per game = among the best PG of the league considering his team needs him to score and they couldnt hit shots ... imagine if he had better teammates how many more assists he wouldve had.
who the hell disliked this?haha
well it pains for others to see just how good was mj!!

Jordan's jumpers really didn't fail me but Kobe's jumpers suck sometimes. I'm a kobe fan but he needs to shoot the ball like this!

MJ IS THE GREATEST!!!! OK!!!
MangKepweng26 2 years ago 5
There defense and offense came from MJ.. man MJ is too good.. Even the play will not work MJ will do a Play on his own and for the team..
fernandezjefferson 2 years ago 2
I didnt mean he averaged 15 assists the whole year. I meant half the season he played PG! during half the season he was averaging about 12 assists per game. When they decided to put him back at SG his assists dropped. He was averaging just about as many triple doubles playing half a season than Magics best season as a PG. Thats what I was trying to say
GoingOn9Lives 2 years ago 2
why today's NBA players like Kobe and Lebron wanna be like Mike? There will be only one Michael Jordan.. why don't just do their own thing? In time there will be a player will be greater than MJ, but there will be only one AIR JORDAN.. and NBA players now a days look like Thugs and Gangsters.. i don't know why?
thugsaint 2 years ago 3
i agree wiht ya, i dont care that in 1000 years from now a player will be greater than Jordan...MJ will always be the greatest...
gotsome23 2 years ago 6
true and probably the most like michael is actually wade
aqshadowlord 2 years ago 2
yap but Wade is a little shorter, but his ability to drive is similar with Jordan.
And he is also a great blocker as a SG, just like Jordan in his early career.
Kobe's style is like Jordan after 1993, but more fency dunks. Wade's style is like young Jordan, but weaker mid range.
James is not like Jordan, he is more unique, he is strong and fast, quick, but he seldom do low post offense, he is a outside player, but not that many mid range, just his stat close to Jordan.
jimmychuang 2 years ago 5
yea and cause jordan wasnt famous for his threes
aqshadowlord 2 years ago
jordan was famous 4 threes

''Wade`s style is like young Jordan, but weaker mid-range''
Are you seriously talking?
Young Jordan shot 20.3% behind the 3-point line, while Wade shot 26.3% behind the 3-point line during his first 5 seasons...
mariomarcano 2 years ago
mid range, not 3 point.
watch some young jordan's vids on youtube, he scored half of his with jumpers.
jimmychuang 2 years ago
Wade has good mid-range too...
mariomarcano 2 years ago 5
@jimmychuang That is a very accurate assessment of their games. If Wade had a consistent outside shot he would be the best player in the game.

MJ wanted to get some scrub on the team a ring...lol, he is so good he could carry them all.

MegaFuckthatshit 2 years ago 4
SO far kobe, very very far kobenians, even practice basketball 24hrs everyday he can't be Michael Jordan.. Look how MJ move, just a simple basketball fundamentals, no head and shoulder fake.. but he can destroy his defender anytime he wants.. hahaha

hes already up there in age.... he past his peak hes still the best. if he didnt retire, i could definately pencil in 2 more championships .. those couldve been his PEAK years those 2.
wanyiren 2 years ago 2
wow dn23 you need to stop making comments that make you sound stupid. One year MJ played PG and averaged like 15 assists a game. MJ could most definately pass
GoingOn9Lives 2 years ago
ur right if im correct i believe hed averaged around 32ppg, 7 rpg, and 8 apg. 8 assists per game = among the best PG of the league considering his team needs him to score and they couldnt hit shots ... imagine if he had better teammates how many more assists he wouldve had.
wanyiren 2 years ago
Are you crazy? Michael averaging 15 assists per game?
No one has ever done that!
Michael averaged 8 assists per game in 1989...
mariomarcano 2 years ago
No one has ever averaged 15 a game. John Stockton came awfully close,.. averaged 14.5 assists in 1989-90
illinifan512 2 years ago 3
Gwao! John Stockton is definitely the best Point Guard ever!
