@papasmerf767 You have to pay (I think) 200,000 bells into your town fund and then pelly (Or Philis) will tell you that you can put a fountain into your town. Then buy an axe from nook and throw it in, and with luck, you will get either a Gold or Silver axe.... Or she just takes your axe

The golden shovel can plant money trees usually they dont really work like if you planted 100 bells (minimum) then sometimes if you shook the tree money would come out, but ordinary trees do that aswell. If you plant 99,999 bells then once the tree is fully grown it will have three 30,00 bell bags on it, but after you've got them its just ordinary again
