my only problem is this i have two camersa and i want to use them in a video im using but so i record them at the same time and i dont know how to edit can you help me with it
My man, I think I'd separate those clips that could be played with like that and set that up as a multi-camera edit. Then I'd work each of those edits to the dog's bollocks so you can't even see a hint of poor continuity. Then I'd paint mustaches on everyone's faces while they're sleeping.
I wanted to thank you for this video. I shot a short film for class recently and I kept a lot of what you mentioned in this video, in mind, and my film came out great! So thank you again!
I think that the cut would have looked better if you had allowed the performer to fully execute his turn in the first scene, then cut to the next scene with him already looking over his shoulder, then turning his attention back towards the crowd. In my opinion, by cutting the two scenes together during the performers turn interrupts the flow of his motion and gives the eye too much to concentrate on. Albeit, I do agree with your technique on how to create the perception of multiple cameras.
Nice film. Also have a look at 'singlecamerapro' in youtube. Its a video on Creative Camera Technique, made by an award winning (BAFTA) BBC senior cameraman. Used for training in the BB

This is a great job and great tutorial dude! What software or video editor did you use? Is there any video editor in the net which i can download it for free for this great quality video editing? Please help me. thanks a lot in advance. Edwin, Philippines
I think you didn't put enough attention for turning his head back. It doesn't look natural. Anyway, I don't like this fast head movments in that clip. It looks a bit freeky, though it's clear you know the technics themselfs.
great job dude! if only people can refrain from negative comments and understand that this is a TUTORIAL! for people with one cam to make it look multicam, and believe me once completed not many viewers will notice that effect, but theres always one sad case who just wants to point fingers.
Thanks for the comment! Yes there are always those guys who are out to bag people. Usually I find that those people either have little or no content of their own on the site and are a little too cynical about it. But the good thing, is that there are a lot more decent YouTubers out there than not. So cheers to them!!! Thanks again mate. J
It is always preferable to have more cameras however that is not always the case for many people. So I suppose I produced this video for those guys. With only 1 camera the edit is all about reducing synchronicity issues and telling a believable story. I really believe people who have a trained eye will always pick it however the general punter usually doesn't in my experience. Hope you got something from the tutorial. Thanks for the comment. JB
@KarameloKaramelo You cleary don't know what you're talking about. In most big productions they don't multicam cause it''ll be very hard to get the ligthing right from two different angles, multicamming is only fine for documenaries and other things that can't be done again...
It's a lot quicker to unlink things by clicking the little icon next to the toolbar on the right side.
Snapping is a good tool to use to prevent flash frames.
It's also good to use other tools too like ripple and roll, it makes editing a lot easier.
In the final product, there were cuts that were good, and some that weren't, like the head turn cut was pretty jarring, as well as the shots of the audience... it didn't really seemed like it fit, but I guess you made the most with a 1 camera shoot.
Nice work dude that is one of the very first tricks i learned when i starting editing...if you plan it out good in real time the possibilities are fucking endless...Peace out
Great tips! Im glad that you brake things down and explain everything. Thanks!

With this kind of abundant footage, I'm surprised you didn't create a 3-D model of the guy.
Hey, if you want to see professional editing, look at my videos. Yes, they're all simple little things, but they are edited quite masterfully.
