This is great. Professor Andrew Ng is one of the lead scientists in ML and he's generous enough to spend his time to build this class for us.
I'm curious to see how this work out, how many people out there are committed and talented enough to attend an online course, and be comparable to Standford students.
@skots If you just want his lectures, they've been online for quite a while now. The advantage of signing up is that you will be graded on your assignments so you'll know if you've been doing it well.
I'd like to know what are the key differences between ML and intro to AI from Thrun (e.g. what topics are studied more deeply in each one compared to other).
Are programs from assignments tested automatically? It should involve some inp/outp rules for them.
Please explain technical reqs for this class more deeply. What programming languages am I allowed to use? What devices should I have? (e.g. multiple microphones for assignment you use in the video)
Yes, the 2012 class seems to have been delayed quite significantly - any chance of an update on timing?
