Chad's definitely my favorite drummer. I know there's a lot better than him but his style is so cool. Breaking Benjamin is lucky to have him as the backbone of their music since Phobia.

But he does it sparingly, and still musically. The band that he plays for just calls for bashing now and again. Bashing doesn't mean poor drumming or technique. It means loud and accented playing.

When I changed drum teachers i realized, but still he does not bash. EVER. he hits hard and accents sometimes but bashing and accenting are different. You can be plenty loud and accented without bashing, just satying :)

Jeremy was the drummer on the first 2 albums. Then Jeremy got mad because he claimed he didn't get credit for writing on one of the songs, tried to sue Ben apparently, Chad tried out and now Chad is the drummer...which Chad is 10 times better anyway so it worked out well.

I can't say that i agree with "kkp84". Jeremy Hummel Is NOT Long forgotten. he's the drummer that took them from "Saturate" To "We Are Not Alone" And although "Phobia" was a knockout and possibly their best record yet, you just can't forget where the rainbow begins. Only a true BB fan could remember that. Chad Szeliga is an amazing drummer and to tell you the truth a very big inspiration. but so is Hummel!!!!
