God cannot be proven or dis-proven through logic (I learned that the hard way, eventually coming to the conclusion that for every atheist argument there is a Christian argument). the only way you'll know He exists is through personal experience. But I have faith that he is, because my experiences have convinced me that He probably is. It's about experience, not proof. Some believers can offer proof, but usually that proof can be debatable. Those who have genuine faith believe in Him not because they see proof, but because they've had an experience.

UPDATE: 2 months atheist. 2 years agnostic. Now reborn christian. Someone how i barely knew sorted things out.. and told me I had to get my life together after I decided to shoplift. He asked me if I was a christian... I said no. And then he asked why... and I told him my whole story. I have had a rough life so he told me that the only way to make my life more comforting is to have God by your side. I realized he was right and I prayed with him.

Sometimes people don't know how to put differences aside and live in this world without a daily dose of judgement. That is the whole point of the song, he doesn't like everything Em does, but he does suggest changes. That is how a true Christian should handle the situation.

KJ knows that there is a massive cost by choosing to write songs to Eminem, because it could completely backfire straight back at him, yet He still trusts in the Lord and ends up releasing these songs. I actually like the song (or prayer), I'm not hating on that. To me it's no different from how Eminem continues to give appreciation to Dr. Dre. It's just that Slim gives fans this twisted image of his self, but 70% of it is his "past" experiences, and 27% of it is just entertainment. Rappers are like Pro Wrestlers.

Well, as a kid I read a Bible stories book. As for the Bible it self I know what's in it and believe in some of it. I had religion classes back when I was a kid, I have brothers, and parents that go to Church every Sunday and I also went as a kid. I believe their is a God - I mean how else do we explain existence? But I also believe in the Big Bang Theory - But I also believe the BBT wouldn't have happened without God.

Em's the same person...His last album was inspired by his recovery. He's already doing another album as the group Bad meets Evil in titled Hell the Sequel. He's not the first rapper to make a violent,drugs,cuss,etc record and then make a more toned down one.
I use to like Eminem until I got older and read and realized what his lyrics were about. People don't pay attention to the messages of songs these days. I would rather listen to more meaningful music than about killing ex-wives and drugs and popularity. I respect Eminem, he had a hard life and came far, but I don't like most of his music and messages. Which is why I turned to soundtracks and symphony music, you can listen and image whatever you want. Leaves it up to the imagination.

Both of these songs inspire me....I came back from Creation Festival 2010 and i havent been able to want to listen to all the other songs i used to listen to. Other people have. I dont think that either way is "correct" and i dont think that either way makes someone "stupid" or "weak". It just means that you look at the world from a different perspective. But I have faith that he is, because my experiences have convinced me that He probably is. It's about experience, not proof. Some believers can offer proof, but usually that proof can be debatable. Those who have genuine faith believe in Him not because they see proof, but because they've had an experience.

UPDATE: 2 months atheist. 2 years agnostic. Now reborn christian. Someone how i barely knew sorted things out.. and told me I had to get my life together after I decided to shoplift. He asked me if I was a christian... I said no. And then he asked why... and I told him my whole story. I have had a rough life so he told me that the only way to make my life more comforting is to have God by your side. I realized he was right and I prayed with him.

This is so inspirational. KJ knows that there is a massive cost by choosing to write songs to Eminem, because it could completely backfire straight back at him, yet He still trusts in the Lord and ends up releasing these songs. I actually like the song (or prayer), I'm not hating on that. To me it's no different from how Eminem continues to give appreciation to Dr. Dre. It's just that Slim gives fans this twisted image of his self, but 70% of it is his "past" experiences, and 27% of it is just entertainment. Rappers are like Pro Wrestlers.

Well, as a kid I read a Bible stories book. As for the Bible it self I know what's in it and believe in some of it. I had religion classes back when I was a kid, I have brothers, and parents that go to Church every Sunday and I also went as a kid. I believe their is a God - I mean how else do we explain existence? But I also believe in the Big Bang Theory - But I also believe the BBT wouldn't have happened without God.

I use to like Eminem until I got older and read and realized what his lyrics were about. People don't pay attention to the messages of songs these days. I would rather listen to more meaningful music than about killing ex-wives and drugs and popularity. I respect Eminem, he had a hard life and came far, but I don't like most of his music and messages. Which is why I turned to soundtracks and symphony music, you can listen and image whatever you want. Leaves it up to the imagination.

I like these songs, but I do thing it's a tad unfair to blame Eminem for curruption of kids (yes, I know he denies this in part two), just like it's unfair to blame Marilyn Manson, because songs just dont take over kid's minds like everyone thinks. Both of these songs inspire me....I came back from Creation Festival 2010 and i havent been able to want to listen to all the other songs i used to listen to. KJ and every other band i saw out there inspired me. I Love each one of them, not because thyre in a band, but because they care. So amazing! This song is so good, and I love it! It's nice to see that KJ cares about Eminem and doesn't judge the guy but just prays for him and hopes he finds Jesus. I think he's right when he says Christians are hating on him instead of being on our knees praying for him. I think that's a mindset we should have with all the people like that. It even convicts me because sometimes I judge those guys that sing those things when I should pray for them.

I am a big Em fan, I mean he's my future ex husband. lol But the point is that Em needs to know there are people out there. And Em's style is not being stolen here. @TheMenime1979 No he didn't. I'm a total stan, and I've been doing some digging. You didn't miss anything. A lot of these guys don't listen to enough Eminem to really understand all the references he makes because they're so personal to him. Think about it. Would Eminem really respond to this in a song? Really? And your name is totally awesome. Don't change it.

@JRSnodgrassOfficial I'm pretty much a Stan kind of fan, too! *grins* Thanks for saying my name is awesome. They say I'm the female Eminem, and started calling me that(my friends) so, it kind of stuck. @neoimean7 did show me a song where Em mentioned someone praying for him. Em didn't actually say It was KJ, but...the point here isn't whether Em got him back or not. The point is(I was re-reading my earlier posts and missed something) Em needs to know these people are praying for him, (c)

@JRSnodgrassOfficial even if he doesn't do anything to change his life, his style or his mind. Look at the new one, Not Afraid. Em isn't afraid to make a change. A change for the better even. Does this mean he's going to run out and by KJ's CD and go to his nearest church and jump on that bandwagon. No. HELL NO....but..a positive change is still a positive change. I love the way we are keeping this convo going. Keep it up guys, and, Keep it up Em AND KJ!
