This video certainly needs to be shown to everyone who WEARS and SELLS fur... in south lake Tahoe, the casinos and and a store called Side Street Boutique just a few blocks away, sell a variety of furs in their stores and regularly show their employees in the ads of local papers wearing furs ranging from mink, to fox, seal, etc. If you happen to go into any of these stores and ask employees how their fur is killed, they do not know. Pathetic.

I just don't understand why people still choose to hang on to old customs and buy items like these while being fully conscious that the materials used to make these came from butchered animals. We're not exactly in the dark ages anymore and we actually have technology that can fabricate materials without having to kill animals. That is actually one of the big leaps we made in the sciences but people still consciously choose to do this. I have to admit, humans are just plain avaricious.

Fur is ugly, only reason to use it is if you're a furry.

However I have a real fetish for leather and won't accept substitutes. But I now wonder where my local fabric store got theirs from, they never tell you.

I have no problem with killing animals for food or clothing, but they shouldn' t be made to suffer. Even a predator will afford their prey a quick death.

I had this rabbit coat when I was 12 or something. I liked it a lot, because it felt like I had a fluffy pet... O God, I was so stupid:)) Now the fur coats on people look disgusting to me. Those are dead animals, people! And if you are wearing fur, you're a murderer. Like it or not...

Tim Gunn hand his massive lisp disagree with animal sports and fashion companies that manufacture goods using traditional goods like furs.

All those years ago furs were taken even More unethically! Fur is completely to farm for, just luke meat. As long as these goods from the animal aren't wasted and squandered, I don't see anything wrong with it. I do have something against hunting for endangered animals for the same reasons. Leather and rabbit fur = fine, tiger fur and elephant ivory = bad

This makes me proud to be a vegetarian. I'm constantly ridiculed for turning against meat. When people do so, I simply tell them to watch your videos and then, maybe, they'll begin to understand. I am working hard to turn against leather and fur. Thank you PETA for these educational and helpful videos. I've been a vegetarian since I was 11 years old and I'm more healthy and happy then I ever was.

this is so sickening, i honestly cannot understand why anyone would want to wear something that is obtained so cruelly. H&M have a great choice of fake leather goods, as well as fake fur styles. I hope that in the future the use of these materials will die out. Anna Wintour is such a powerful woman being the editor of Vogue, yet she still insists on the ignorant choice of wearing and advertising fur. People like that should not be given responsibility over what the public think.
