Even so, the percentage of violent crimes by illegal is astounding, as is the threat to national security. These factors alone take precedent over anything. Indeed they came by boat, but there were ports of entry, may were denied, and others held for many months before entry was granted. Point is, there was a process, not jumping a fence in the middle of the night. There was also a general consensus to be proud of the land they were about 2 call home, which I see lacking.

As a matter of fact, I immigrated here as well, and have a dual citizenship with Germany. Yep, paperwork is a pain, but we have the privilege of having the time and money to spend to DO it. I personally have no qualms with allowing those who would suffer otherwise to work our horrible jobs; it kills two birds with one stone.

It's up to us. The biggest reason why people commit crimes is due to the fact that people get desperate. you don't see many rich people committing these types of crimes, it's the poorer people. they do what they can to survive. of course there are people who will do senseless crimes but i don't see why we can't solve the issues without authoritative figures.

We obviously dont want more poor people to come to this country, it is not up to the USA to solve other countries problems. WE have our own problems with poor people as well. If we can cure that problem first then we can help others in their country. The poor people of their countries need to bang on the doors of their govnt for a solution of welfare or something. We shouldn't take this burden as it harms other Americans.

We make mistakes..people like to break rules for an addrennaline rush...addictions to drugs, alcohol, and what ever entices you...the list is long and that's why we need authoritative positions. All rules need to be reinforced or people will take advantage of the situation which would in time inevitably turn catastrophic.

That sounds fair, Chaslie45, but the US is in many countries illegally, Iraq and Afghanistan for example.
The US promoted a lax immigration policy for years, and when people take advantage of it, they go and terrorize people and separate families and cause so much mayhem.
If the US leave other countries alone, perhaps more people from would be willing to remain in their countries. Mass immigration to this country is a direct result of unfair US foreign policy.

So why doesn't he deport himself back to Europe? It easy to talk tough in a country where has has not only all the freedoms he's entitled to but also the opportunities. He and people like him should adopt 4 illegal aliens, keep them in their own homes and provide the financial support for the illegals health, welfare, education and general well being. When they see that they are responsible for this and not my taxes, their story may change a little.
