  • same design of Sony profeel

  • 0:17 "A picture of extraordinary clarity" :D

  • I don't want a TV that has that much wind blowing from it.

  • i hardly see commercials for tv's.

  • @babz1991 That's because a TV will usually sell itself. With such a small market, there's really no need to get ahead of the competition, as appose to the automobile industry.

  • I was about to suggest. I remember that ITV index from 1987.

  • And I was right... the Teletext date points to either 1980 or 1986. So this advert was filmed on Fri 26 Sep 1986 at around 16:00.

  • @tsangari 1986; the LON shown next to the date suggests that, since it wasn't possible for ORACLE to use data bridge generators to transmit regional magazine pages until at least 1981 when Scottish Television began broadcasting their magazine followed by other ITV companies. Until then ORACLE had to carry all their information on their 800-page capacity. So it can't be from 1980 in this case.

  • looks like the bloke that also played the scientist from arachnophobia

  • you want a widescreen

  • Is he a villan from a James Bond film?

  • Yes he did play a villain. He played Necros the villains henchman in The Living Daylights (1987).
