  • @BIGBANKSBOY What I find amusing is it seems people on youtube are finding more enjoyment out of it than I did the entire time it was in my house.

  • wtf is this for real or am i FUBAR

  • animal abuse

  • what kind of fish are those? goldfish or koi carp. i couldn't really tell. ;o

  • @spitfire4599 It was so long ago I don't even remember.

  • @jasonmit the two you netted from the bag were serpae tetras.

  • @intothebreach Oh yeah, spot on.

  • Just get a tank

  • Lol

  • its like a garden

  • i like ur house...

  • um black tetras dont get that big. maybe a koi would do

  • why in the house

  • @35vegeta Why not?

  • Yeah. Having a pond in your house is pretty ghetto.

  • DID THE SUDDEN THOUGHT OF JUST POURING THE WATER IN JUST COME TO HIM AT THE END OF WHAT?????

  • haha!! when did you do this ? and do you still have this set up? just wondering. cool!!

  • @jan1761 Set it up over three years ago. We don't even live in that house anymore. Think I only had it for a few months. It turned to be too high maintenance.

  • omg this is like idk kindof funny thumbtack in water tank in livinng room lol...

  • ha ha ha... the funny thing is that it's in his living room, do u like not hav a backyard?

  • Best filter you could use, is an external power pump.

  • Hey, Jason - take a look at my mud pond harvest video and let me know if you think you'd like one of those fish in your house. :-)

  • takes you two years to do this man...water back and forth back and forth...lol...anyhow i like this

  • very creative!! it gave me some good ideas ....thanks for the video

  • wtf? thumb tack in the water? 6:05 ridiculouss.

  • @lilmonkeygurl3 da i was about to write that but you beat me to it

  • A few years ago two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said "Get the kids and get out of the house, we'll call the police we don't have a clown statue". The "clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00am with a chainsaw in his hand. Sorry don't want this to happen to me.

  • @kooldbz999 shit there goes me sleeping tonight

  • fresh prince @21 !!

  • like the idea of nature in the house and that mate but could have designed it better!!!!! nice that u looking after the fish though x)

  • if the fish died its just the wrong kind of wateer u need the water what they were born from

  • Very creative! Been three years now, how are these little guys doing?

  • @RMurray8874 They died around two years ago. Actually, one died a couple weeks after making this video. It just disappeared. About a week he came up missing I found him in a shoe.

  • @jasonmit YOUR CUTE

  • name the second one bob if you want!

  • LOL at people saying ur house is a mess. its not, just lots of stuff that dont compliment each other really.

  • @dexOn22 Indeed. Plus that house was a real pain in the butt or organize.

  • LOL man!I started with a blue baby pool outside on the deck, but now Ive dug a hole, liner, filter, apple snails, plants, rocks, fish etc.. We get peace anyway we can. More power to ya!

  • LOL man!I started with a blue baby pool outside on the deck, but now Ive dug a hole, liner, filter, apple snails, plants, rocks, fish etc.. We get peace anyway we can. More power to ya!

  • you are cheap

  • @manalarc1 Indeed!

  • be smart and use declorinator like normal people.

  • black fish and black gravel.. nice :L

  • u r house is a mess!!!

  • @Alanitoo Good thing I don't live in a museum then.

  • Ist not about being old , If this is what you wanna do its perfectly fine . I would still have a pond outside . If you had marble flooring maybe you could add a pond to the design

  • im sorry but i think ur a lil to old for this , idk , id say u should of at least bought a pond container ,and make a wood plat form , im sure u can use a saw and a hammer , not that ur cheap ,but this is more of a kids thing grow up man

  • @luisartx09 Yeah, it was a stage that only lasted a few months. It was good fun though. And yeah, we actually moved since then and our new place has a workshop in the back where I can build and paint stuff.

  • assuming your talking of acidity levels, a 7 is perfect drinking water. So its a minutely acidic. It's nothing to be "concerned" about. The only concerning thing is how much your getting. Girls don't want to be with guys that have a pond in their living room, next to the tv.

  • @zach3493 lol maybe not. I'm a married man. That's why I had the extra time to do something as silly as that.

  • ur on drugs

  • @1234tomj Yeah, I'm high on badass pills!

  • That is one of the more ghetto things i have seen in awhile.

  • this guy is just happy

  • this guy needs his own farm; he needs to be out in nature more -- looks like he brought it all inside.

  • who has that stuff in their living room kinda weird

  • @patf03 We had the room and it was pretty of fun. It was like having an air conditioned garden. Didn't last long though. It was a real pain in the butt to maintain.

  • why the heck have u got a pond in your house

  • Is there like a filter below the pond thats attached to a sewage pipe? Or is it just a baby pool filled with water?

    Please reply

  • @robloxfan459 It had a pump with a makeshift filter that actually worked fairly well.

  • i would have gone with like small koi or somthing so u can see them or goldfish but still good job

  • i know nothing about fish ponds but how come its inside insted of out side?is it still imside?

  • @waylan3 Naah, it was too high maintenance and cumbersome. There's a retro cabinet Hifi in that spot now.

  • thay are tropical fish and need to have a heater

  • 0:52, why not do that in the first place?

  • why not put it outside ?

  • Your fish arent moving because their like what the fuck, this hippy just put us in a trippy fucking baby swimming pool! WTF hahahaha!

  • The PH of your water is safe for you to drink. The maximum damage that it could do is possibly slightly (hardly) nuetralize the PH level in your stomach acid.I think that you have the numbers on the PH scale a little bit mixed up. You see: if something has the ph of seven, the substance is neutral. If something is LOWER THAN SEVEN it is considered an acid. If something is HIGHER THAN SEVEN it is an alkaloid. Which is harmless. Like an ant-acid or a gas pill. Tap water is typically alkaloid.

  • and i thought i was nuts

  • That is so impractical . .

  • @nialler190188 lol yes, very. That's why it didn't last very long.

  • wait lawton, OK ? thats where i am! cool stuff!

  • @person662641 Yep, kickin' it in L-Town! Moved here for college, stayed because of laziness, got a decent job and it's better than Duncan.

  • Seinfeld in the background! FTW!

  • what kind of fish were they just normal goldfish?

  • so...im guessing your house does not have a yard correct?

  • @yournamehere954 It has two: one in the front and another in the back.

  • lol he starts off with the cup thn is like fuck it and uses the bucket

  • seriously in your living room in the house?

  • im making one for my turtle and newts ill try your idea but with an island

  • @dodopo234 Cool. Hope it works out well for you.

  • it's different but as long as u are happy it is all that matters. ohh u and ur fish that is.

  • @turkeyslayer100 It wasn't too bad.

  • nice mine is in a bucket like ur green

  • this is one of the kind LIVING ROOM POND. kool :)

  • LOL for tropicle fish you need a tropicle enviroment, and for that you need a heater.... kinda a no brainer.

  • FIND A LIFE DUDE HAHAHA

  • Comment removed

  • OMG u r 1 weird guy. FREAKY

  • do i smell hippie?

  • omg smh !

  • are those tetras? they are tropical so you would need a heater. i would have gone with goldfish or small koi.

  • very cool

  • This guy needs to stop drinking fluoridated water and eating GMO foods...

  • oh my god this is so ugly and tacky. you're whole living room needs a makeover

  • @hiwi8989 Maintenance on the thing was a real bitch. Since then, I took it down and replaced it with a retro HiFi. The living room, especially that part, looks a lot better now.

  • @hiwi8989 whats ugly so some is beautiful to others i wouldnt do it but i think its cool

  • I think it looks cool. Cool idea to put it in your living room.

  • Everything is set up so wrong. 1 you need a substrate that doesn't belend with the fish, 2 you need fish to suit the temerature, 3 you need a filter, 4 don't use shells they just mess everything up in fresh water.

  • be honest do you really think fish are going to survive in there

where are your uv for daylight why do you think fishtanks come with a uv flourescent

they are going to die but still youtube is full of posts like this

why dont you put them in the bath they would stand more of a chance

or better still get a cat

  • seriously anything you put in there will die

  • @stevenandlou I disagree completely.

  • stick some bubbles in it you can have a jakuzi

  • tropical fish in a pond? can u do that???

  • Sure, if you have a big enough heater. Sadly, this was something I figured out I needed after the fish died. :-(

  • wow u need a python!

  • tnx now i have a more safer and easier fish pond to build

  • Are you able to maintain the proper pH for tetras? They need a heater, no? Goldfish would love your setup. They like lots of space and don't require a heater.

  • Nice!! I have the same PH Kit at home. lol

  • LMAO

    this makes me laugh..

  • hmmm im a bid sceptical with the whole indoors idea but aslong as nothing hapens thats fine by me

  • i enjoyed this video though as long as you don't keep huge fish in there it's pretty good it's better than idiots putting goldfish in fish bowls =) It's really nice 5/5

  • wtf? crazy man:S?

  • i was going to use that idea. get one of those dog bathing pools and turn it into a pond...nice job

  • Kinda Small n' Indoor

  • Looks Horrible! Who wants a kiddie pool in their living room? So tacky!

  • didn't look like a kiddy pool when I was finished with it. Either way, I have a cabinet hifi there now.

  • I enjoyed watching this video, Jason. Thank you.

  • you have to let water sit at leat 24 hours after conditioning.

  • just an observation but didnt you put something in the water ( i believe conditioner) in the pond b4 you tested it.so it wouldnt be the same as if you tested the water straight from the tap, try it tat way to see if there is a def....but cool pond would love have tat

  • Earlier in that day I tested the PH of tap water right from the pipe. There was virtually no difference. I don't think the conditioner makes any changes to the PH. I think it's designed to naturalize chlorine and other chemicals put in tap water to make it drinkable, but could make fish ill, or even kill them.

Cool thing about this setup is how the pump aerates and slowly evaporates the water. I have to add around half a gallon of water each day. No filter, yet the water is still very clear.

  • i love the pond, the running water is relaxing

  • It does create soothing white noise. It's pretty loud though.

  • I think I've learned a lot of things from this video. Is a fish in your pond goldfish?

this is so cool video! you are so nice to fish. I hope your fish will live for long time. I think if you put more fish, it will be great!! my English is bad I'm sorry.

  • LOL, don't worry about your English. You may have a better grasp of the language than some people I know who been speaking it their entire lives.

I have two little Serpae Tetra. I'm planning to get some more fish here pretty soon. The problem with these fish is they blend into the rocks I have in the pond. So I'll either get some gold fish or some of these glow-in-the-dark fish I seen.

Thanks for your best wishes. They seem to be remaining very health so far. :)

  • I wonder how often the water will need to be changed? Looks good Jason

  • I was kind of wondering that too. I think since the water is always moving, and especially if I get some kind of filtration worked out, it may be like changing oil....should change it every three months, but when I get around to it, it may be closer to five.

  • very cool pond i like it

  • U seem like a really nice guy, keep it up mate and I am sure them fishy's will be fine :D
