Continued... The volume was a little past half way when I heard it, peak light flickering every now and then...Great speaker for the price, got me reconsidering EV's Live X 15s which in my opinion do not dish as much bass, but cost 1/3 as more here in Jamaica.
If I get the Alto I'll review em for you guys...Bless
Heard this speaker at store, just 1 connected, out-door in a mall (cars, ppl, other noise etc)..
I have to say I was amazed at the range of sound this speaker provided, nice punchy bass for a 15", clear mids (not EV quality, but certainly clean and clear), and crisp tops, & loud enough. I figure an indoor area (Hall/Church/ Gymnasium) with a pair a these would be well covered w/out a sub.
Let me tel u .it sounds awesome .I use to have a 15" behringer n I think this alto kicks way more ass .I strongly recommend this speakers ,I'm forsure getting another to complete my pair .plenty of bass n clear voice . :)
Hey man awesome vid. I am looking into these speakers and I will be purchasing either these or the 15 thumps within a few weeks. Any thoughts? Hows the bass and does it distort? How loud can you get them without clipping them? At first I was looking into Eons but they are very over priced and I don't need them. But any thoughts on these? Thanks!
@bakerentertainmentdj I've gotten em pretty high and haven't heard any distortion yet, the bass cone barely moves, and when you do hear distortion, remember its not always the speakers, the bass is amazing, get em man, best out there
Nice vid, I have 4 of them and I simply love them. I also made my deal through guitar center. I did a side by side with just about every other powered 2 way 15 in the store including QSC, JBL eon, etc... and hands down bang for buck these speakers are great. I hope other mobile jocks check them out. Love, Peace, and Hairgrease...DJ Malarky out. PS. alto makes a powered 15 and 18 inch sub.
@DJRendTearItUp I hear that, I spoke with one of the reps at Truesonic and he told me that I wouldnt need a sub with two of the pro series. I can only imagine ha. Im not sure if I should get the powered 18 sub or two of the pro series. Im leaning towards the sub since I have the others already. Damn, I just couldnt wait lol. Love, Peace, and Hairgrease...DJ Malarky out.
@djmalarky You really don't need one for the originals either. I just want one for that extra punch. Pros are nice but since these JUST came out, owning the regular series is a plus because you got em when they first came out before any other series came out. Kind of like a original sentimental thing. Hard to explain but you know what I mean.
@DJRendTearItUp Man I know just what you mean!!! I'm lovin mine as well. Im shooting for there 18" powered sub. I think it's $699 but I'm going to see if Guitar Center can hook me up a little. If not I guess I'll still be going for it...like you said, it will be a sentimental thing lol. I just wish they had one on hand so I can check it out first. I'm simply going off of the way these babies sound and assuming the sub will be just as nice. DJ Malarky out.
I'm going buy the two tops and the bass bottom today!!! Dj Mookie the whole New Orleans gon hear me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
