  • All guitar manufacturers bring something different to the table. I happen to think no brand is superior and not brand is the worst.

  • crafting level : asian

  • @FearToNothing so what mann we have the best guitar in asia which is use by many artist all over the world and even ur damn country

  • @darkstar3x16

I seen an LTD eclipse 256 on ebay the other day and it said Vietnam

  • Anyone who picks a Fender guitar over an Ibanez guitar, doesn't know much about guitars or sound. Ibanez guitars are the best - - - I built the prestege line of guitars and basses for Ibanez during the 90's and was really impressed at the quality and inspections each guitar was put through before being shipped to anyone. I now furnish some of the special wood that goes into the making of their great products, Thanks Ibanez for making a great product. DB

  • @ddbunker A guitar should be picked out judging by personal preferance, not brand. Although I love Ibanez myself there's certainly a reason for why Fenders are so popular - and it would naive to say that it's nothing but brand.

  • @ddbunker first of all, it`s spelled prestige and to say any guiat is better than another is completely subjective. any blues country player would pick a fender, and anyone with talent would go ibanez, but that doesnt make ibanez the best manufacturer ever. firstly they arent american, second the choice you get when it comes to options and colors sucks, third their custom shop is nonexistant, and im not a fan of their customer support. so basically, its all opinion and my opinion is musicman FTW

  • @Guitarmazdur hey man ._. i'm Mexican! but i live in the border so :D i'll take it as a joke :B i saw how to make a Fender Guitar cuz in my state there's a Fender factory :B

  • really "ibanez" was Ibañez, It's a spanish name

  • @UNIDAD347 riiiiiigght...... so THAT explains all the mexicans in this video XD

  • @Guitarmazdur I'm NOT mexican , I'm from spain and Ibeñez was a spanish luthier , whem he died the company broke , them a distributor made again the ibañez's guitars , look for on internet is true

  • @UNIDAD347 i didnt say YOU were a mexican :P

  • @Guitarmazdur Well , now you know I don't mexican

  • @UNIDAD347 I still pronounce the brand as Ibañez (ee-bah-gness) I am a spanish speaker.

  • @TheyPromisedMe this is wrong ,sorry dude. my SA 2020 Prestige is made in korea. it is from 2005.

  • 5 pc laminated prestige neck...amazing

  • @darkstar3x16 Oh jee, that makes me feel good about myself haha. It's actually a really well made guitar, a few problems with the fretboard but it's all good now. I swapped the pickups for some EMG's.. the ESP pickups were extremely good, but I want more Metallica sound. So even though it's lower end, it's still a good guitar.

  • amm yes its like kramer made in the usa? no not every kramer made in the usa since the company bankroupt

  • ibanez guitars are originally from spain! duh! Ibanez?

after the war they were bought by a japanese man who started making "Ibanez Salvador" guitars but then later changed to Ibanez

  • @jrm769 ture true true

  • @TheyPromisedMe

not all guitars are made purely in Japan.. for example Ibanez Prestige have Dimarzio Pickups that is from America ofcorse.. and many high quality guitars like Gibson uses Schaller stuff.. which are made in Germany.. so what I am saying is that they aren't all purely made in America or Japan.

  • as long as they are really made in japan? ive seen taiwan /korean and china made ibanez and they are shit! you cant beat the real deal

  • Are all Ibanez Prestige guitars made in Japan? Any Ibanezes made in the US? I'd be curious to learn about the wood selection, drying, and quality control process used by Ibanez compared to, say, PRS.

  • @mrichman That's where Ibanez is from. They did have a US factory around the 90 days, but it didn't last too long. Finding any USA ibanez is a piece of history. However, a USA fender/prs is just like a Japanese made Ibanes.

  • @mrichman

Japanese brands like ESP, Ibanez, and Fernandes are one of finest quality guitars that can compete to other makers in a world.

Many people seem to have this thing where they think made in USA= best, which is wrong because no made in America guitars are actually purely made in America, same goes to Made in Japan, it's not purely made in Japan either.

  • @Fakestar0x Incorrect. PRS guitars (except for the SE models) are made in Maryland. ESP LTD are made in Korea. I was just curious about the correlation between cheap labor and quality.

  • @mrichman

You mean assembled, parts aren't all from America . But if you are talking of cheap labor you can not forget the Chinese Labors.

  • @mrichman my ESP LTD is made in China.. not Korea.

  • @scotty688 then you got screwed xD chinese guitars suck in quality xD

  • ibanez is japaese?!?! man, thats cool
