@FASTOLDSMOBILES99 To run 11's in the quarter you'd need about 60-80hp. Think about it, a CBR600rr w/ gears and suspension runs the 1/4 mile in about 11 seconds. Hell, a fast as FUCK minibike would do it in like 15-16seconds. The reason why is because you need VERY tall gearing to pull you across the finish line.. that means the start will be slow no matter what on a single speed. Maybe unless you had a torque converter.. but i'd guess 20 seconds in the 1/4mile.

I own a company that builds nothing but karting and jr.dragster engines. To get a briggs raptor flathead to make 17hp, you need some extreme mods. My stock bore/stroke jr.drag motors with a 28mm carb and huge cam, billet head, hot ignition, makes about 19hp. I see you are running the stock carb, head, and def sounds like a stock legal cam. At best you are making just under 10hp, and thats if its a national level motor.... on alky.
